What have you recently had to pass on & why?

Whether it be lack of space, high price, bad timing, unsatisfactory opinion of product or another reason we've all had to pass on somethings we would have otherwise ordered.

Issac Clarke Statue - no light on spine
Hot Toys The Boss - isn't as good as it should've been
Rinzler Maquette - bad pose
Commander Shephard PF - odd pose but may change my mind on this
Star Wars Mythos line - Price & upcoming pieces taking priority

I don't really get lack of light up options being a problem.
How often do you use these really? And won't the spine be facing the wall anyway? Will you not be positioning it so you see the front of the figure?

Posing is an interesting one, but unless the pose is totally awful, then I'll still buy.
Commander Shepard I'm still getting despite my disappointment with the pose.

For isacc though lights are as big a part of his suit as they are for Iron Man, the hand light wasn't a big deal but the spine is key.

For me it's more than passing... It's canceling.

I have 2 orders atm that I had at one point REALLY wanted but due to recent preorders taking priority, they have to be shuffled out of the deck.


I already canceled The Snow Troll.

But soon enough I will also be canceling the Baroness EX and the Paratrooper EX.

Batman, Ivy, Malgus, Babydoll, and Shaak Ti are more important to me.

For now I'm passing on exclusive items because of the $30+ deposits for each. Imagine if I reserve 4-5 of them.. I already be spending over $200 in pre order only and NOT refundable. I would wait on it since I know the reg ver will not sell out usually and I can always find it cheaper at BBTs, but since the EX tend to fly, well I guess no other choice.

Have you looked at the statue, he's looking over his shoulder, the ideal way to display it would be sideways to show the mask the rig and the cutter all at the same time. We view Isaac from behind at his rig 99 percent of the games. His mask lighting up but not his rig makes no sense. It's like if Iron Man's eyes and repulsors lit up but not his arc reactor, thats the only really important to keeping him alive thing.

I've had to pass on a lot - mostly LOTR maquettes. I just have no room....but then I think, well maybe I'll get rid of a few things and make room. Then I look at my cabinets and realize that I don't want to get rid of anything....so I end up passing on anything new.

Same for me for both of these, though I'm passing on Catwoman because of the Barbie hair.

I had to pass on Beto's awesome Beetlejuice tonight due to cost. Would be a jewel in the collection, but at $900. . .I've gotta draw the line somewhere.
