I am looking into buying a suit designed for a TTL body but was wondering what body is considered to be similar?? I am partial to hot toys bodies so I would much rather just switch it out.

Methinks the TTL suits would look great in TTL bodies. HT parts are compatible with TTL bodies from what I know. TTL3.0 bodies would also be excellent for HT head sculpts with no neck, such as the Bruce Wayne head and the Tony Stark head since that body's built-in neck will make it more seamless.

Unfortunately though, the TTL's arms are shorter than the TT therefore, the suit MIGHT have shorter sleeves.

I had a ttl suit on a ttl body but switched to a narrow shoulder truetype, I wouldn't recommend it. The TTL body is a lot, lot better suited to the ttl suit. The arms were too long and monkey like and the chest looked too flat.

Also I actually prefer TTL bodies to Hot toys ones, every HT body i've had has had a loose joint somewhere, never had that with the TTL.

I know what you're talking about with the loose joints. I got a HT Narrow Shoulder a year ago. The damn right leg was so loose it could barely stand up even with the stand.

Im planning on getting a TTL body to replace it soon. Can you tell me how tall the figure is? The HT Narrow Shoulder fig was much shorter than the rest of my figures and I would like a figure that measures up to it.

More or less the same mate, I think it depends on what shoes you use or whether you use feet w/ pegs or just pegs!

Personally speaking i think TTL bodies are junk... they are always loose and floppy and have giant gaps in their butts and their knees bend backwards (WTF?)

BUT they are the only bodies that fit their nice suits.

I've used many a TTL suit on a HT slim body, black or white, They look great on the slim bodies.

TTL suits go on fine, just TT's arms are too long, that's what I found anyway. You could see more or less all the wrist joint. Not good! And i've never had a loose TTL body. They're pretty solid in my experience.

Pull the cuff down over it? :dunno

I have my Bruce Wayne, Craig Bond, Joe Colton and (had) Tony Stark customs on TTs with TTL suits and I don't see any issues.

Cuff wouldn't go over it pal, it was a TTL shirt.

:lol

I've not used all the TTL suits on all the different TT bodies, just a black suit from the Gestapo figure and the blue 3 piece suit, both of those had the issues i've mentioned.

i have had the same issues, plus generally the shoulders are too wide for their suits... even the narrow shoulders.

I guess if you don't have an eye or don't
t want perfection it won't bug you... but in my opinion it looks just awful.

Tony Stark, Bruce Wayne or James Bond would not be caught dead with such poorly tailored suits.

I guess if you actually know how to pose the bodies you can make it work? :dunno

They don't look bad at all, they don't look too small and they don't look cheap.

I tried posing them man but if the arms are a bit too long they're a bit too long. They were for me anyway.

The arms are for sure the biggest problem... plus even if you can muster one pose out of them that hides that fact would you really be satisfied knowing it will look too short if you ever move that positon?

I easily get more than one satisfactory pose out of them, so no, I don't have your problem.
