I'll take that! Some well made points here, I agree with some of what you're saying.

It looks glorious... but also a heckuva lot shinier than I was expecting. Did the factory spray on several coats of gloss at the end or something?
They have been from all the in hand photos I've been seeing in the group. Unless if someone is planning on displaying this with very minimal lighting.I feel like they've all been that glossy
Personally I prefer the “flat” look of the Hot Toys as that’s a closer representation of what the 89 (and 92) was. The lack of weathering does give it a “plasticky” look though. I was pleased to see the newly announced Hot Toys Batmissle has a much more realistic paint job with subtle weathering, even on the tires. It really looks like it’s been driving on the streets of Gotham.I mean it's definitely preferable to the super flat plasticky look of the HT version.
Guess that's the beauty of having been able to cancel your pre-order. I'm personally really looking forward to getting mine, I love that gloss finish, looks bloody brilliant.Personally I prefer the “flat” look of the Hot Toys as that’s a closer representation of what the 89 (and 92) was. I love the scale and shape of the Jazz but imho the addition of the gloss coating + silver mesh embellishments make it look more like a sleek sports car than the satin bulletproof tank portrayed on screen, and in the Jazz prototype. More James Bond than Batman, if that makes any sense. Regardless, it’s a unique interpretation. Happy for those who own it and are pleased with it.
The costumer support is indeed excellent. We can make comparisons and debate value for money until we’re all blue in the face (ain’t it fun!) but everyone who invested in this project was treated fairly and its existence means more choices, more competition, and ultimately better products. We’ve all won.Guess that's the beauty of having been able to cancel your pre-order. I'm personally really looking forward to getting mine, I love that gloss finish, looks bloody brilliant.
I'm also hugely encouraged by the fact that the manufacturer engages directly with the collectors, should there be any issues. Having had problems in the past with another manufacturer - who shall remain nameless, and who were awful to deal with - the customer support I've seen from Jazzinc so far is hugely reassuring.
