With Hot Toys getting the rights to do new Hellboy and POTA figures (once SSC licences,) wha would you say about them getting the rights to Bond? Not even taking a possible Craig figure into consideration, there are so many character variations HT could do without redoing any of SSC's figures. The great thing about Bond is his sense of style; over the course of the series, he got to wear alot of memorable outfits, and Sideshow only covered a fraction.

Here are some realistic "new" figures they could do by film:

Dr. No
Honey Rider
Sean Connery in blue shirt and jeans
Sean Connery in Chinese coat
Jack Lord as Felix Leiter

From Russia With Love
Red Grant
Sean Connery in suit

Goldfinger
Auric Goldfinger

Thunderball
Sean Connery in black dinner jacket (not the same as the Dr. No figure)
Emilio Largo

You Only Live Twice
Donald Pleasance as Blofeld

Diamonds Are Forever
Sloppy uncle Sean Connery in white dinner jacket

Live and Let Die
Baron Samedi
Mr. Big
Roger Moore in suit
David Hedison as Felix Leiter

The Man with the Golden Gun
Casual Scaramanga
Nick Nack

The Spy Who Loved Me
Roger Moore in Naval Uniform
Jaws

A View To a Kill
Max Zorin
Mayday

The Living Daylights
Timothy Dalton in leather jacket

GoldenEye
Pierce Brosnan in black jumper outfit
Pierce Brosnan in tuxedo

Tomorrow Never Dies
HALO Jump Pierce Brosnan

Casino Royale
Daniel Craig in open shirt suit (first kill PTS outfit)
Daniel Craig in Madagascar outfit
Daniel Craig in tuxedo
Daniel Craig in three-piece suit w/ machine gun
Le Chiffre

Quantum of Solace
Daniel Craig in black jacket, white pants
Dominic Greene

See, there's alot HT could do with the licence.

i'd be all over these. i never got into the SS line and i dont feel like trying to track down all the older figures now. but if HT did take on the license how far would it go? it seems HT only makes about 5 figures per line and then shelves it.

Oh yeah!
I didn't get into the SS line either,
but if HT could make a fresh start, that would be awesome! :rock

But I still want SS to make a PF of Craig.

I have at least one of every Sideshow Bond actor, but wouldn't mind if HT redid them, as long as they were in different outfits (which, as I pointed out, should be easy,) still, a Craig figure would be the top priority for HT if they ever did get the licence.

Its probably not a good idea to tell HT that youll pay $150 for a figure in a suit.

I'd like to see a Mr. White figure. He's the most iconic, for me, of the new bond villains. That cryptic representative of Quantum who dispatches Le Chiffre and who first makes Quantum known as a tangible entity in the sequel. Also, he's the Quantum member who knew better than to get up and leave the opera, exposing himself. Smart, well-connected guy. I'm sure we could get several versions of Bond, and probably a Le Chiffre.

Happy with the Sideshow Bonds, but although I am sure the Hot Toys versions would be sweet, I prefer them to tackle more elusive figures like a Gary Oldman white haired Dracula or so.

I liked the SS Bond line enough that I don't think I'd shell out $150+ for new versions of him. I'd like a Craig, but like Amarcord said, I'd like to see more interesting and less than human things coming from HT. There's a whole bunch of B-movie sci-fi and horror characters from the 60s, 70s, and 80s I rather see than an old British dude with small PP...

...K. :D

I have one of each bond (save for Dalton, whom I want desperatly but can never find) so they would have to be a marked increase in quality for me to buy new ones, but I would certainly be all over a Hot Toys Daniel Craig. We can only dream. Maybe Hot Toys can just pick up all the old Sideshow licences. Imagine what they could with Buffy or Lord of The Rings.

I used to have virtually all the SSC Bond figures, but sold most of them when I realised they no longer stand up to current sculpting and tailoring standards. The only one I have left is the Thunderball Bond (although the first Lazenby figure and Jaws still hold up) and a Brosnan figure which I've put in an Action Man TWINE outfit.

I'd be happy if Sideshow just did a tuxedo Connery Bond and a Daniel Craig; for the villains they should do Red Grant and Goldfinger, plus a 1/6 Aston Martin. A second Connery Bond with grey suit and jetpack and I'd be ecstatic.

It would make perfect sense for them to do Michelle Yeoh as Wai Lin given she's one of the few globally known Asian stars; and a Halo jumping Brosnan would be a good military style outfit for them to do.
