What is it about May and August?

A few days ago the angel Comiquette was pusehd back AGAIN to May.

Today, The Hot Toys Sam Flynn Lightcycle has changed from March to May.

Here is just a handful of things now coming in May according to sideshow:

Angel Comiquette
Commander Bacara
Isaac Clarke Statue
Neytiri LSF
Darth Maul LSF
Magik comiquette
The Heavy TF2 statue
Dutch PF
Colossus PF
HT Tron Lightcycle
HT Babydoll
HT Amber
HT Jake sully
HT Spider-man
HT AVP Samurai Predator
HT Red Skull

Most of them are planned for May but more are being piled on top with delays.

Concurrently instead of the usual of items being Est Quarter, they have specific August dates it seems everything is due in May and august with harldy any use of the months in between or before.

Why are these all planned to ship at the same time? :dunno
 
I personally believe that most of the items currently estimated to ship in May will NOT ship in May. ;)

Sideshow's and Hot Toy's estimated shipping dates are well known to be inaccurate. So no worries that everything will hit us (and our wallets) at the same time.

I have to Agree, not really worried about having to pay all at once, just the shipping cost is the unknown issue. Also when u have allot of stuff going out at once. Quality tends to go down from being overwhelmed....
 
I can't cancel the Snow Troll. There's only 500 of them and I don't want to cancel Boromir EX as LOTR is my main line. Then again, I don't want to pay 800 + on ebay to get Vamp EX and Joker EX.

I transfered a NRD of 80.00 already on the Pred EX so if I cancel that, then I lose that. I'll cancel the Pred Bio, I'm not worried about picking that one up after.

I'm screwed.

Which could mean if one has got 3 things on order delayed to may with everything else then all 3 could become QC nightmares

Don't worry there is no way sideshow will ship all those statues in May. Those are just an estimate trust me some if not most will be pushed to a later month.

Btw I have 8 statues listed as May but I know they will change the date later on:

Boromir maquette ex
Angel comi ex
Vampirella pf ex
Joker pf ex
Predator statue ex
Colossus pf ex
Dutch pf ex
Batman life size bust

So don't :panic::panic::panic: just yet
 
We are slowly phasing out the shipping quarter references for specific shipping months based on client feedback. This means you may see more month references now on our site.

We appreciate everyone's patience as some of these items' arrival dates are shifting. If the items do arrive in earlier than expected we will contact those clients with the option of Early Processing. Please also consider using our flex pay plans on any items you feel may arrive together unexpectedly. If there is not a current flex schedule on site for the item, then contact our customer service department and they will work to get you a schedule when possible on your items!
