Every state has its issues. Here, we just had an anti-bullying bill killed because folks on the religious right claimed it was going to promote homosexuality by including homosexuals in the list of groups that were ostensibly going to be protected from bullying.

Louisiana is it's own kind of special. :lol

EDIT: and no, I don't need to be reminded of how screwed up Maine is.

Wow. What is wrong with people. Get over yourselves and your stupid assbackwards opinions and bigotry. Not passing a law that would ultimately protect people from abuse--whether physical, emotional, mental whatever... just because some people who would be protected by said law is homosexual. Just wow. I hope those people who decided against this law for those reasons are happy sitting on their high horse, being hypocritical while having their multiple affairs, and pushing their prejudice agendas. Congratulations on making this world a crappier place.

it sounds like California isn't that much worse than other states :lol. The sales tax is still pretty :gah: though.

yea...stupid tax.....if you go out eat, you need to pay 10% tax and 15% tips...so you eat $100, you pay $125...that sucks!!

You are going to support In-n-Out Burger knowing that they are responsible for everything bad in the world?:)

I thought that was McDonald's with their evil Happy Meal Toys!

I know that every state has their idiotic laws, but California, or should I say, SF, is getting just a bit more carried away.

I've never had an In and Out burger.

The best fast food hamburger I ever had, and I only had it once, was a Big Buford from Rally's. First and last time I've ever liked cheese on a burger.

We are getting a Five Guys burger place up here in Toronto(GTA) soon, anyone tried that place?.
