Turn based RPG for me. Nothing is as enthralling to me like a long epic japanese style RPG. I do love my survival horror though, which is a close second.

What PS3 games would you recommend for "Tactical Espionage Action"?

I assume we're mostly talking about Metal Gear and Splinter Cell -- neither of which I have much experience with. Planning on getting the next Splinter Cell game. Conviction never came out on the PS3, and I haven't tried the update SC release yet ... so I haven't played much SC since the PS2.

Never tried MG, though I've heard good things. I have played some Rainbow Six ... though I'm not sure if that qualifies. Any recommendations?

With the name SnakeDoc i woulda thought you were an MGS fan.
Absolutely play those games! My suggestion would be start with order of release. get the PS1 version of MGS, then 2 then 3. You will no regret it :lecture

I never liked Splinter Cell or Hitman because of the trial and error aspect of those games, it just ticks me off.

"Snake Doctor" is the callsign of Dennis Haysbert's character from The Unit -- show about an Army Delta squad. Not related to MG, as far as I know ... though I know the guy's name is Snake.

I'll give MG and probably Splinter Cell a shot. May just jump into the PS3 version, though. Heh.
