1/6 all the way. I love posing the figures and swapping out and using the different accessories on them. PFs are just too static for me.

You wanna get nuts? Come on! Let's get nuts. :horror:rotfl

Ah but thats the baggage you brought into it, I'm afriad.

For sure.

Back to your original poll though, I still feel like a shade of gray even if we don't ponder complicated niches and instead aim at those 2 choices. I love modding and posing and space is a crucial issue for me :huh

If you love modding and posing you automatically fit into the first catagory. I have space issues too but it doesn't set the course in my collecting hobby.

Posing, modding, futzing for me! I tried the statue game and I got bored with it, very cool pieces out there but to have the option to changes poses and such takes the cake!

It does for me. I would never buy something if I couldn't display it properly to give the piece justice. Modding's cool, so is posing, as is saving a limited resource like space. All factors that come together that make me like 1/6.

hmmm. The price thing is not always so simple. I payed more for my Hot Toys Robocop than my Robo PF Exclusive!! Space is definitely one reason why I like Figures. Another is having them shipped international, i don't have to pay crazy customs because I don't have to insure them for the full value because these things don't break during shipping. There is nothing worse then the anxiety behind worrying your getting a nicked or damaged statue, or paying high customs rates because you had to insure it fully. Then the pose-ability and numerous licenses available make it a no brainer for me.
Sorry no vote cause I am not represented in this pole.

I'm with Pix. If you were going to choose both options then its pretty much the same as not voting anyway, you aren't helping pix with his poll.

Anyway, there could be more options, but that would be a different poll for different points.

I will say in addition to the 1st option, I like 1/6 because I can get more figures than I can with statues. Also, I came from the perspective of first being a 3 3/4" collector so it wasn't immediately a choice between statues or 1/6.

When I first started collecting 1/6, it was because I didn't want to commit to the PF prices and found it as a cheaper alternative. Now I collect what I like between both scales and have fun customizing some of my 1/6 figures to my liking.

I love to pose my 1/6! I have alot of statues aswell but as many here already said. It is really fun to be able to make them different so you don't get board with them.
From time to time I go an repose my figures so my shelfs never look the same and always something new. (I save money in that way so I don't get board with my shelfs):p
Some times my fiancée plays around with them and I always get surprised when they are not standing the way I put them last time:p

Absolutely LOVE futzing with figures! Can never get enough. Posing and reposing and reposing is the ^^^^! Never gets old, even if I have had a figure for a few years.
