I said I'd only order the SST figures I really like but so far it's been all of them. :D

Other than that I used to be into Hasbro since 95 but after the Sith blitz I've left them behind. I'm into Master Replicas lightsaber hilts and minis but with that starting to wind down I may just go back for the occassional helmet. My plan is to have a set up where I have one MR hilt, one GG bust and one SST 12" for each character on display....

I like Star Wars. I am just not a huge collector like I am of LOTR. I had a GG Vader statue, that I really liked. But, I sold it so I can get a SS/W Easterling statue instead.

I may get a couple SW 12"ers here and there...

I like all of the SS stuff they are doing with SW, but, I just don't have the room or extra money to buy everything...

I'll get every 12" SS does, even that piece of crap Jar-Jar.
I have to love the PF to pay that much, so far Vader, Obi, Grievous, and the Maul bust.
Just started getting into GG

OT 1/4 only.

and Maul/Qui-Gon 1/4 but that's it from PT.

I used to collect replica props (Icons, MR, etc.) but not anymore.

Oh, I still have all my original Kenner figures too from 79-84 when I was a kid. ;)

I've collected SW Hasbro figs since the old trilogy was rereleased in 97-98. I had a bunch from when I was a kid, but lost all of them due to teenage ignorance. I later branched off and started buying other types of SW collectibles... Mostly MR FX lightsabers and mini's. I only have one GG bust, and probably will never buy that many of them.

I actually started collecting SSC when I saw their Jason VII figure. Immediately blown away I had to see what else they offered. Once that happened, I was hooked on all of the New Line Horror figs, as well as the Bond line...

Once they announced the SW and LOTR 1:6th lines, I knew I was in heaven.. Now I am a junkie, trying my best to make time for all these damn preorders!! :banghead

I can't really afford the PF's, but I know that sooner or later I will see another one that I cannot help but buy... My Demon Freddy is pretty lonely...

I started collecting in 1990 (before the big blitz) and got lucky enough to get all the original Kenner Star Wars 3 3/4" figs and the Indiana Jones too for decent prices.

Went crazy like everyone else when the new SW line came out in '95. Broke into SW 12" about '97.

Started customizing 12" figures in 2000.

Finally gave up on SW 3 3/4" figs around the time AOTC was released. Just ran out of room finally. Plus I got swept up into the 12" madness...

Now obsessed with 12" figures -- and it seems to be a good time to be into that. With the new SS 12" lines...I am also in heaven.

Been a SW collector since 1977 when I got 12" Kenner Luke and Han (still got 'em). Also have my entire childhood collection of 3 3/4 SW figs including several ships, the Death Star, etc.

Like many here, I'm now a 12" collector and have customized and upgraded the bodies of several of the Hasbro figs. I also have a couple of the SW Marmit figs; Marmit's Boba Fett is my pride and joy.

SSC's announcment of a 12" SW line was pure heaven-- I've been waiting for this for decades.

I'm also heavily into 12" military/historical and collect WWII/WWI/modern, etc.
Hope SSC adds to its Bayonets & Barbwire series, that's what got me hooked on Sideshow.

Awesome!

Me, I like to collect high qualtiy stuff from my favourite movies and tv shows(ie, Buffy, Angel, and need firefly sideshow!) I sort of want my collection to be like a museum and have replicas, statues and the nicer 12" figs, which sideshow got covered. Getting my first of hopefully many PF's on order.

So with the star wars, basically just want makes me go WOW and from only the OT. For example the PF's, master replicas, sideshow figures. Theyre all amazing.
So far I have collectibles from

Terminator
Star War
Indiana Jones
Buffy
Classic and afew Modern Horror Classics

soon to be LoTR as well. God, Im rambling on!:wacky

Hello, my name is Jow and I, too, have a problem. Well. Did. I guess. I started collecting Star Wars when I was 6 and only gave it up a few months ago when I realized Hasbro made SIXTY EIGHT Star Wars figures last year. I snapped. I started pulling figures off the wall... found a couple boxes in closet A, found some more in closet B, found some carded figures under the sink, found more in the linen closet, and even more back in closet A. There were five or six figures in the hall closet and 4 in a box behind the TV.

To quote my friend Randy: "Jow, you do realize if you put two of those things in a dark closet together, they're gonna breed!"

So I sold everything from POTF1995 - present and am limiting myself to a select few individual figures, keeping my carded vintage collection, and I'll buy Sideshow's figures for a while.

For some hints of my insanity, check out the thread in this forum about the guy who wants a 1:1 life size Royal Guard. I posted some pictures of my apartment in there.

although I am thinking about buying that new Terminator and Pete Emery motivational figure.

Who's Pete Emery?? Jedi? Sith? :wacky
I am interested in almost anything 1:6 and try to get as much as I can without the cost being too restrictive. I will probably collect all the Star Wars 1:6 until the line is completed with the slave girl version of Shaihulud's girlfriend. :naughty

BDboystoys: Yeah, I've been a SW since I was 7 and saw the first film. Would love to see SSC pick up the Firefly/Serenity license.

However I'm by no means a completist due to financial constraints and other factors. With SSC doing 12" SW and LOTR, I'll have to pick and choose. For example, I skipped the Kit jedi knight, and though I think he's cool, I'll also won't pick up Mace Windu.

I completely skip the 1/4 PF SW. Can't afford them and wouldn't have the space for them anyway. Plus there's something special about an action figure or action collectible.

With SSC making so many SW and LOTR 12" figs at the rate they're introducing them, I just have to pick and choose and stick to primary figures for the most part. Can't wait for SSC's Military of Star Wars line :stormtroo

I've pre-order Bespin Han, Obi-Wan, though I'm on the waiting list for ROTS Anakin and still need to find a way to get ROTJ Jedi Luke. I've also pre-ordered Strider and Legolas.

let's see I have so far:
Universal -The 12" Frankenstein monster, 12" Dracula, 12" Wolfman, 12" Mummy.
Buffy - all figures except the Gentlemen, vamp Willow, Origins Angel, and Der Kindestod.
Modern Horror - original 12" Freddy Krueger, 12" Jason Voorhees from part 3, part 7 and FVJ, 12" Michael Myers, 12" Hewett Leatherface, and FVJ Freddy (Robert Englund).
Highlander - Origins Conner and Duncan and Modern Conner and Duncan
12" Sideshow figures of Hellboy, Van Helsing, Agent Mulder and Agent Scully, 1st Ash from Army of Darkness with a replaced resculpted noggin.
Preorders for the 12" inch Darla (both versions), Kurgan, D'Hoffryn, Luke Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan, Han Solo, Aragorn, Legolas, Angel, and my first PF, Buffy.
I think that covers it so far..?

I'm fairly new to collecting various movie figures, but my star wars collection consists of 3 koto statues (which I love) an 'unleashed' stormtrooper with obi-wan and anakin 12" coming from SSC sometime this year. I like the pairing of those two characters, so they are the only ones I am getting at this stage. I would love to have R2D2 and C3PO statues as well, but I'll wait until I see how they will be done.
