But the action is always incredible. And the cinematography is excellent. As usual from Mr. Bay.

It is typical 80's but I don't recall this being hated.

Lot's of people think its cheesy, movie lacks plot, blah blah... I think it's great though.

I really enjoyed The Thing 2011 alot. Sure there was a bit more CG than I would have liked but overall I found it a very enjoyable movie.

I really liked the new Thing, I felt it was a good companion to the John Carpenter version and they kept most of the details fairly accurate like the room where The Thing busted out of the ice, the crate of explosives with the missing explosive and the dog. I l really liked how they brought a female scientist into the mix .

My point, and problem with most prequel fans, is they don't think the movies have any issues with them. At all. They think they're perfect. Which then leads to arguments.

Also, I had a dream some brown guy (I don't know why he was brown....but he was brown .Probably because I just watched Parks and Rec before bed, so he was like Aaiz Ansari) hung out with those Chronical kids...except they transformed into creepy Alien monsters and ____. Really weird stuff.

Anyway, that brown guy all he did was bash Transformers. And I wanted to punch him in the face. He threw a cup of slushi or something at a poster of it. Why didn't I blow him up in my dream? ____...

Its got some good stuff in it, the opening scene with the helicopter crash, the T-600s were pretty cool. I think its better than T3 at least.
