From what I've been reading across the internet I guess I'm in the minority that likes the new Nightmare on Elm Street remake. I wouldn't say I love it, but it's much better than all the sequels and Freddy is actually scary in this movie.

Titanic (great film ___k all of you!)
Pearl Harbor (wouldn't say 'love it' but enjoy it)

The Phantom Menace (not a case of loving it but I prefer it to ROTS which is unusual)

Judge Dredd (very enjoyable action/adventure film even if not a good Judge Dredd film)

Can't think of any films that haven't already been mentioned.

Temple of Doom.

Romeo + Juliet

Hook.

Masters of the Universe.

AOTC/Episode II. Just wish it were darker like Empire was. To me its the one prequel that's most reminescent of an old sci-fi serial.

Really? I guess I just figured people generally liked the film. I love it, though I was always into the history of it and what not so that adds to its overall appeal.

The thing about Titanic is there was a huge backlash, as there always is against anything that becomes quickly and hugely popular. This backlash is very vocal and as far as I can tell is more prominently so than those who still love the film. I loved the film from first viewing and my opinion hasn't changed.

There is a huge fan base here in Sideshow freaks, but outside the board, I know everybody hates these movies I love:

First Blood (1982)
Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985)
Rambo III (1988)
Rambo (2008)

I also enjoyed the ANOES remake. At the very least it is leaps and bounds better than the abomination that is Rob Zombie's Halloween 2.

Jonah Hex- a true milestone in cinema history which will stand the test of time and be the best comic book to a movie adaptation. :lecture
