What NON-Fellowship members are you getting?

Specifically with regard to 1/6, but if you only collect 1/4 feel free to chime in as well.

For me I'm *definitely* getting:

Faramir (Ranger gear)
Saruman
Arwen
Galadriel
Gollum
Eowen (armor)
Morgul Lord
Ringwraith

Plus Gandalf the White and Black Gates Aragorn.

Not sure on any others. The Fellowship nine plus these 10 would make a pretty extensive 1/6 collection. Of course if they only release four figures a year I'll probably just end up being a completist.

I won't know till they announce it. The cast is so huge, it'd be impossible for me to guage what I would or would not get. For instance, Gothmog doesn't really interest me, but the figure could be too damned cool to pass on. Likewise, Gollum is a must-have, but they might screw him up so bad I couldn't bring myself to spend the money on him.


We shall see.

Heh, for the sake of the thread the assumption is that SS won't screw up on any of them. I'm curious how far people are willing to stray from the Fellowship just on character coolness alone.

I know I want Eomer, Faramir, Denethor, Theoden, Saruman, Sauron, Nazgul, KOTD, Eowyn, Morgul Lord, etc.

I will buy prttey much every LOTR product in 12" form that they chrun out. If they can make a 12" Jabba the Hutt for the STar Wars line I see a Cave Troll and Sauron in our future...wouldn't that be too cool.

I think some characters are just as important, if not more so, than the Fellowship, including faramir, Saruman, and Arwen. I want them, ESPECIALLY Faramir!!!!!

If there is one line that I seriously consider being a completist on, it's this one. The only thing that would keep me from picking up a figure would be if it was a variant of a figure that I'm not interested in getting. For example, I've got Strider coming and would definitely be getting an Elessar but a TTT Aragorn would probably be a pass.

But most importantly, above all, I want my Fellowship Nine. Anything after that is just icing on the cake.

Star Wars seems easier for me to miss out on a figure here and there, but I have been a completist thus far. For LOTR, I think I would try to be a completist as well, but like Fly said, Aragorn at the Black gates is an easy yes, while TTT Aragorn is more of a pass. I think it would be great to get the fellowship and then:

Judging from the three figures we've seen so far, I'll probably be a completist. The attention to detail will make these hard to pass up.

Besides, at the rate they're coming out, it wont be like there's going to be a lot to pick up all at once.
