Uncanny Web-Slinger
Super Freak
I recently bought and am enjoying assassins creed brotherhood. I was aiming to get a platinum on this and would have to play the online section of the game, which i tried and somewhat enjoyed. I have since however given up on the platinum for two reasons...
So i got thinking after reading an article today about the developers reasons for not adding multiplayer to Oblivion: ES Skyrim. Most of the comments on this article were in favour of no multiplayer as the game didnt need it.
I've got another strictly single player game needing to play that has an online multiplayer part, i'll give it a shot cos it might be fun, but to me for online competitive games that i would play they need to feel fun, challenging, organic and most importantly be appropriate genres. Some genres dont seem to capture those earlier points.
My online genres of multiplayer are...
So, which online muliplayer genres do you guys tend to play most??
- One of the online trophies demands boosting and i dont have the patience to play on the off chance i might get it through normal play.
- While the online multiplayer is is suspenseful it didnt keep my attention after two days, there are too many other great and more engaging online multiplayers out there and although i appreciate the ACB devs for being innovative (which is key in gaming) it didnt feel neccesary, and it shouldnt of been part of the trophies IMO.

- FPS, as they are fun, never the exact same flow, organic, and shooting each other for points never gets old
- Beat 'Em Ups like SSF IV and soon to be MK
- Co-Op FPS in Borderlands
- Some racing games
- Platforming in LBP every once and a while
- MMO: I have used Warcraft for a few weeks but didnt want to lose myself to the game
