What should the original Predator come with?

How about LED lighting on the targeting thing on his bio mask... maybe on the wrist computer too?
Dizzy

I notice people putting emphasis on ACCURATE wristblades. Have the wristblades on previous preds not been accurate?

Its just been the AvP blades. P2's were a bit smaller, and less spikey.

They were similer...but still, I'm hoping HT does the correct blades...

I'm not anal on little details, but P1 has my favorite blade design.

It would actually be pretty cool if his blades could split apart like it did to Dutch's head

Gekko I hope your wrong about the molded on mask/ two heads, that would ruin the figure for me. I love being able to take the helmet on or off. Somthin tells me your right though, that a cloaked version is probly gonna be the exclusive.

i hope there isn't a fully-cloaked one. clear figures always look terrible because of the articulation.
it would look ok as a solid piece... but then i still wouldn't be inclined to pay HT prices for a plastic unpainted statue.

there's no reason they can't make just 1 regular pred with interchangeable mandibles, his helmet, the medicomp and some skulls. it's perfect.
my guess for the variant is battle damaged/bloody. which i'm gonna go ahead and pass on.

I don't think there will be a cloaked version of the Predator.
That seems like a cheesy gimmick that Mc Farlane has used on it's smaller Predator figures.
I'd hope that HT would be a bit more original than clear plastic.
Don't forget...Mac's skull needs the hole and burn mark.
:chew

the partially-cloaked McFarlane exclusive P1 was decent since the painted parts strategically covered some of the joints.
so if HT HAD to make a cloaked version, they should go that route. they did that with the snap-kit AVP Scar.

I don't think it will quite be "clear" plastic but I think that's the only real variation possible at this point. The P1 doesn't rate a "battle damage" set, he didn't take all that much damage in the film until the very end.

GG

I think the ending seen will be enough to warrant a bd version.
Two reasons I think this.

1 )

The damage he takes and new things he does could warrant a new figure.
He uses the new blades that go around Dutch's neck , he takes off the mask and he just generally takes alot of damage.
Plus its one of the most iconic parts of the movie ( sci-fi movie history too :horror:banana ) . You know , the scene ...

" your one ulgy otherf$%^er !!! ". :rock:D

2 )

If hot toys made a figure of the lost predator and other predators in genral mixing it all up a bit they have no reason to not make another.
Presuming it all sells well anyway , which I'm 99% sure it will.

The only way a battle damage version would work, is if he came with a log...and thats all he could do. Sit under a log.

The Predator took little damage in the Dutch fight. He only had a small cut on his leg, and thigh. Other then that, he was fine. A varient is useless.

yeah, but all battle damage would be is HT squirting some green paint on it. it didn't have any parts blown off, or anything.
i can do that myself if i really want it. which i don't.

could have the blood coming out of his mouth , I know it only happened when the log hit him but I don't care , it would look bad ass.
As I said the extra blade things , I really really think hot toys will do it.

I need one of my predators damaged , I have all the clean versions.
I will probably get a bd predator 1 if its different enough.

But it only happend when he was under the log. So...unless you're not an accuracy guy, dont do it.

Those accuracy people will have a fit.

there's always the chance HT will be greedy d1cks and make a "battle damaged" (green sploches) version with an "exclusive" medicomp like the bd p2.

how about a skinned body too , its been mentioned before.
Why not ? There was a big scene with them in for pred 1 , they might consider it.
Hot toys always seem to surprise.

I like the idea of a skinned body...that would be great!!!
I'm sure the people here who have the skills and make their own customs could pull off a skinned figure for themselves or make a few for others on the board.
I would like to see the laser sights done in some way shape or form.I think that would add a nice touch, having at least one Predator with it.
