What were the most anticipated films in your life that you had to go see no matter what...the ones that made you wish they were out tomorrow...the ones you say to your self I hope I dont die before this comes to theaters...For me it was the last 5 Star Wars films plus LOTR and the Hobbit...If Del Toro makes the DC dark justice (Mystic) league film then that will be up there...the rest I would not have been as upset if I waited for DVD...that's my list

Man of Steel

The Tripods (The White Mountains/City of Gold and Lead/Pool of Fire)

The Dark Tower

I tell you whats for the upcoming...

EPISODE VII

Just cant wait for it...ahhhhh

The Dark Knight. Hands down. I went on the internet searching for news about rumors regarding a new C. Nolan Batman film the moment I got home from the theaters opening day of "Batman Begins."

That was the biggest hype and excitement I'd ever experienced from a movie coming out. Other big ones were Home Alone 2, The Lion King, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Planet of the Apes (2001), Spidey 3, and Indiana Jones 4. Most of those were followed from magazine articles, newspapers, and word of mouth from other people who had read things I didn't. The internet makes it so easy these days...

The Dark Knight was probably my most anticipated.

I remember being EXTREMELY hyped for Batman Forever and The Phantom Menace though. Final product turned out a bit meh.

I was a little young to even appreciate Batman '89, Terminator 2 and Batman Returns hype outside of trailers and magazines. Those were some of the first things I was introduced to, if not the first things other than Star Wars.

For Lord of the Rings I was a bit late. I had read the Hobbit years before the film came out but didn't know anything about it. I missed the Fellowship of the Ring in 2001, but jumped on board for the Two Towers the following year. I was ****ing lost and had no idea what I was watching. Talking trees, separate story lines, what the ****? The only thing I loved was Helms Deep and the main heroes. Then I got the Fellowship of the Ring Extended version and I was hooked. I literally got that "a-ha" Eureka effect and it all came together.

Spider-Man was pretty important too in the early 2000s. It tied directly with everything in 2001 with 9/11 and all that while I followed it.

How old are you? I pegged you to be older than me but even in Kindergarten, I was PUMPED to see BR. The magazines, the posters, the stickers, the Color Forms, the action figures, the die cast vehicles and figurines, the Light Brite sheets, B:TAS after school, rewatching B89 over and over again... I don't think I saw the trailer at all. Just TV spots. But was I excited!

I forgot about TPM. I was excited for AotC and RotS as well. Progressively less and less excited with each movie, but excited nonetheless.

This one is easy - the 1989 Tim Burton "Batman". Opening night and we had to buy our tickets for the midnight show in the afternoon otherwise we would not have gotten in at all that day. It was a full house and it was AWESOME! Hands down the most anticipated. Close second was Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace.

We're probably about the same age.

Batman 1989 for me was VHS and post '89 hype. Batman Returns wasn't really an anticipation for me, just more like a given. The thing that really stood out before the film, for me, was the merchandise, posters and Kenner (The Dark Knight Collection, Batman Returns and Animated Series lines). I was more focused on Batman: The Animated Series though.

Phantom Menace had to be up there for alot...after waiting all those years
