The PF that got me into the SSC world was the Indy ROTLA PF. I remember being on IGN a couple months or so before Crystal Skull released in theaters, and they had a topic about the top 10 best Indy collectibles to prepare for the release of the new movie.

The SSC PF was sitting at # 1. It sounded so cool. Hand painted, real authentic tailored mini Indiana outfit, and individually numbered.

It had a link to the SSC website. (I had never heard of SSC before) I was too late to get an EX so a Waitlisted an EX and ordered a Reg. I told myself that I didn't want to collect a whole bunch of "toys" and that Indy would be the one and only piece that I would buy and that I would then leave SSC behind never to return.

I guess we can all see how that turned out. :lol Three or so years later and I'm still here!

Before Indy shipped I caved and ordered statue after statue after statue. My Mystique PF EX converted and she was the first collectible that shipped for me. (Even before Indy, which was the one that started it all.)

When I got Mystique I knew that that was it and SSC had both my heart, and my wallet!

So Indy was the one that got me here, and Mystique was the first piece to begin my collection.

Sorry, I know you didn't ask for our life stories...:monkey3

My LCS had some of those small Eaglemoss lead figurines that picked my interest, and when I got home I browsed for more info. I stumbled upon the yet to be released Black Cat PF and fell in love with it.

The very next day I went and bought me a Mystique PF to ease the wait. I clearly remember thinking "I shouldn't be doing this" as I was heading there (it was another bricks and mortar store, as I didn't know better back then and got ripped off).

But I did. And so began my spiraling descent.

The Argonath bookends from The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition DVD.

First polystone collectible I received by itself was Sideshow Weta Legolas as a Christmas present from my brother.
