A bunch all relatively one after the other, new and older figures. I know these aren't popular on here and aren't Hot Toys but I love them.

That's the way to do it. Always collect for yourself and your own enjoyment, not for the approval of others. Stick to that creed and I find one tends to enjoy the hobby more, and be more likely to avoid the risk of burnout or collectors fatigue.

You’re 100% right about that. I used to be that guy who had to get all the latest HT figures. But after losing a job in 2019 and having to sell nearly my entire collection, I realized I didn’t even really enjoy most of them. Once I got back on my feet, I started buying exactly what I thought was cool to me, and it really has made this whole 1/6 collecting thing way more enjoyable than it had been in a long time.

This is not just how I collect, but how I live life. I don't do what I do for the approval of others, I do it because I like it. If my fake benefactors want me to change for them, they'll have to use manly tactics, such as fighting me, because I don't respect cowardly tactics such as peer pressure. Real men don't give in to peer pressure, real men double down. I will double down by growing my hair so long that I lose their approval. When I get my ass to Malaysia, I'll be out of their jurisdiction, and can live a life without their social engineering or peer pressure ********.

And I purchased my first Phicen recently, a S22A I believe (whichever number is the one that's pale with muscular legs). Heavier than I expected due to the steel skeleton. I keep worrying that the silicone skin might tear if I'm not careful with posing or whatever. Also concerned that the silicone might warp if kept in the same pose for too long.

Sold my clones and am going full Mando, with a touch of
Doctor Strange.
I pimped out the Doctors shelf and have the New York Sanctum backdrop coming.
