Just went on to eBay and saw in the completed items that one Hicks only went for £180 (it even had an egg and Lonnie head-sculpt included). And there was another one with a FML spikey-haired Hicks head thrown in and it went for only about £265. And one BNIB was only £280!! I'm sure a BNIB used to go as much as £600?

This figure used to be so much. I hadnt checked in a long time but is this what we can expect from othe figs too like P2 elder (keep meaning to put mine on eBay)? Or is it that cos HT produce such great human figs now that people have lost interest in the inferior USCM?

these are outdated figures and to collect the whole team its a whole bunch of money plus with all so much new and much better hot toys figures coming out its not surprising people are losing interest and prices are climbing down

Prices on this guy have fluctuated a bit over the last year or so, in my observations. However, I picked one up for $350 or so over a year ago, so I don't think the prices have changed that dramatically since then. This figure supposedly used to go for $500-600, but I haven't seen much of that recently. Any exceptions are probably heavily customized (with painted FML heads, etc.), or are new in an unopened box.

Yeah, I noticed it too...
hopefully it will happen to the preds as well.

I'm not sure it will. Having said that I have now decided to sell my P2 elder and BD P2 sooner rather than later. But like Vaako said, I think the USCM are outdated compared to the human figs that HT are making nowadays and so appeal has been lost. People arent as excited as they used to be especially when you got great figs like Royce, Dutch, T-800, Barney Ross, Wolverine etc.

Plus the Aliens line has been long over so people are moving onto other things but the Predator movie franchise is still going strong.

I think it's because the figures nowadays are so expensive, the owners of these figures are finding it almost impossible to sell, and people are not willing to spend the ridiculous asking prices in these hard times, IMHO.
