What's with the sudden influx of new folks here?

This is not meant to be a "knock on the noobs" thread. I am genuinely curious as to why there has been an obvious influx of new members on the boards of late. Where are they all coming from? And how did they all find out about the boards at seemingly the same time? It seems unusual.

maybe word is getting around that this is a very entertaining, fun, informative, kooky, & whacked out board . i know i lurked a while before i joined........maybe more lurkers are just taking the plunge. i always noticed that before i joined there was a fair amount of guests.

All the new people make me curious at times too. Only thing I ask of them is just introduce yourself and look around before posting new threads. It seems many of the new questions are actually rather old. Otherwise, welcome.. oh and avoid the Star Wars section if you want your sanity to remain. A good place to maintain sanity is the Sandbox.
