KISS Premium Sideshow Exclusives - AMAZING story!

Hey All -

Today was amazing...probably the most amazing day in the life of a Sideshow collector, let alone MANICAL KISS fan!
Months elapsed when I first laid my eyes on the Starchild, Catman, Demon and Spaceman and I KNEW that one day I would own my share of these Sideshow masterpieces, and it all started with a phone call to a local toy/comic shop called Things from Another World . . .
....ring..."Hey, do you guys still have those KISS sideshow statues I saw at your store one year ago?"...
(them)..."Yes we do - they normally go for $399, then we dropped the price to $299, but this week we have a 40% off sale on all items so you should get your butt here ASAP!"
Friends, that was enough for me to leave my day job mid-day and rush over to the store. To my surprise, I noticed that when I got there, Ace (the Spaceman) was unfortunately sold out but the remaining three band members were still available.
Concluding my best day probably of the month, I purchased the Gene, Paul and Peter statues for just $175 EACH....Brand New...Straight out of the box!!!! It was a dream come true! I can safely say I will be collecting MANY more sideshow exclusives in the future...Here's me showing my new friends off!

For me it's Yoda in battle. Seeing him as the true Jedi Master that was alluded to in Episodes V & VI verified Yoda as more than just a mentor to Luke. I really liked the way Yoda not only took the battle of the enemy, but also showed what he was made of by taking hold of and commanding the Clone Army

Yeah, I'm gonna say Revenge of the Sith Yoda. By then they had gotten the CGI down, and frankly I will always love Yoda's fight scenes. As a kid I always wished they would show Yoda in his prime proving why he was the most powerful little Jedi ever, and the prequels just fulfilled what I had been hoping for a long, long time. Plus, a PT Yoda would fit in better with all the other PT Jedi I have.

Something about the Medicom version bugs me, the cheeks seem too shriveled up and sunken, almost like he's addicted to smoking opium or crack.

Ya, it's the best Yoda figure out there, but the face has always kept me from getting him, looks anorexic and weird so I've always passed.

Empire Strikes Back!!!! in fact, I love the SS 1:1 Yoda. its perfect IMO.... of course i loved the ROTS version too... but they should have had him kicking more ass in the prequels.
