Those bring back memories. I had the original run versions of Frank and the Creature but had to settle for the glow in the dark versions of The Mummy (which was really cool) and the Wolfman which kind of sucked because the glow paint on his face would rub off.
I cant remember the name of the company but when I was growing up, I remember asking for a Set of 8" Vinyl (I think they were Vinyl) Universal Monsters for Christmas which I ended up getting. I remember seeing them in a JC Penney catalog or Sears or somthing and fell in love with them. I had Dracula, Frankenstein and Wolfman. Wish I could remember who made them.
EDIT! HA! I found them:

Like this? (but 1/6 scale?)
Even though the film heavily disappointed me, I thought the film was quote enjoyable, most notable the werewolf it self was quite well done imo. I still like my animatronics though.

Awesome! I'd be down for a 1/6 scale!
The Howling werewolf too(mentioned earlier)
This beast:This beast:
In all his 12 inch glory. I really love this fig, it has a very special place in my heart. I know people hate the movie but I just love this thing. The nails in the hand and the legs are amazing.
So, I guess I'm the only one who really liked the re-imagined Wolf Man.I thought that making it a "period piece" was a great idea;gave it more mood, and just seemed to work for me. Baker's work was , as usual, outstanding...PS
best werewolf:
No offense, it's a good piece but honestly this looks like an action figure that you can find at Toy R Us and Walmart. Some of us are looking for a werewolf that's much more high-end!
