I don't like the crowds during Black Fridays...everyone turns into stupid, mindless zombies ready to take a chunk out of you.

I just convinced my GF to get me something that I've been wanting for a long, long time. For people that are Acme Direct and Vanderstelt fans they are having a 25% off sale on November 30th.
My GF conceded to ordering me this for X-mas since it shouldn't be more than $120 shipped:

Drove down a stretch of a bunch of retail stores at around 8:30pm this evening on the way home from my parents. There were already people lined up with tents outside of Best Buy and it started to stretch around the store (there was still plenty of parking). The Toys R Us across the street is opening much earlier at midnight. They maybe had 4 or 5 people waiting at the doors.

I saw the nuts out already also on the way home from dinner.:lol

I don't understand those people camping out. Is it really worth camping outside of a store to save a few dollars? I mean over here the temp (while not as bad as previous years) is going to be in the lower 40's.

Years ago I used to do it with a friend of mine when they used to give freebies away at the doors. It was fun back then. Kinda like a tailgate party. Now it would be too scary to do it.

I know right, and usually as Christmas gets closer, the savings get even better.

Just got a Laptop @ Amazon for $197.99 regular $450.00, other then that all Blu Rays.
