I say if you're dissatisfied, EVEN IN THE SMALLEST AMOUNT, if you paid for it return it. Get a better/less chipped or whatever piece. It's your money, you're the consumer and unless every piece has the same small problem, get a new one. Besides, we all know.......you can never get anal enough!

Another interesting quote from Shai Hulud is coming....

''SOMETIMES I FORCE MY WOMEN TO TOSS MY SALAD.''

Dude....

That's just nasty. Especially if you like "dressing" on your salad.

As to your previous post (since deleted), I'm afraid we need pics in order to judge. :lol

Depends on the cost of the item but also what the issue might be. My Lorne 12 inch figure has an issue with it's right shoe (it doesn't wrap around the foot well enough so he has one leg (essentially) longer then the other. But I'm not about to send back the whole thing because of that issue (since I can just figure out a simple way to fix it.

But, my Frodo PF showed up with a big brown drop/smudge on the sword yesterday and seeing as I paid almost $300 (and the fact my eye zoomed in on that right away (I hadn't even lifted him out of the styrofome yet) then I just don't feel I should have to 'live with it' so I contacted customer service today and hope to hear back within the next few days.

I can live with things I can easily fix or aren't too noticable on the more inexpensive items. But for anything not easily fixable or really noticable on bigger ticket items (and on more inexpensive as well) I really feel I should send it back for a replacement.

I bet dude, you must have it tough. Do you ever buy multiple PFs or statues? This could get way out of control really fast.

I don't buy PFs or statues..I'm not much of a statue collector though some of Sideshow's new licenses like Spidey 3 look appealing.

I collect 1:6 scale figures namely Hot Toys and Medicoms stuff. I usually buy doubles of what I really like. It's expensive but it's part of my collecting habits.

I'm not a stick-up on damaged packaging though...I don't really mind it so much unlike some of the people here. But to each their own.

My original post has been destroyed.....as usual...* sigh *

The Evil Darklords disciple has indeed learned his masters evil tricks well.

With Shipping and duty almost everything I get from SSC comes to me for >$100. My Anality as such is a bit highter. Makes me feel guilty sometimes - but for $100 bucks, perfection even on the 12" scales seems reasonable.
