We all know Sideshow is making one. A while ago, we even saw a prototype fig that was supposedly complained about by Craig due to it's likeness. But this was a few months ago. With CASINO ROYALE opening next week, and a slew of Bond merchandise coming out within the next few months, one would think Sideshow would have officially announced the figure by now. What is taking so long? :007

i bet they will have a priority pre order on the day the movie comes out, they usualy do that with bigger movies.

They are, but its going to be for Asajj Ventress, not Bond. I imagine we will find out this next newsletter since they were advertising Bond contests, etc. in it. Maybe even a pre-order. I doubt PPO though since all of the other Legacy Collection Bonds are just TBD and have no exclusives.

I predict (read as hope) they announce it next Thursday in the newsletter, and then we pre-order the following Thursday. But then I expected he would have been pre-ordered a couple weeks after the last Legacy figure...

I have a feeling that after I see the movie I'm really going to want one.

Have a feeling the Craig figure may surpass Brosnan as the best-selling figure so far.I m going to an early Thursday evening showing of Casino Royale and im looking forward to it immensely now:D .Although i ve only seen the trailer Craig has won me over.I was hoping to see a glimpse of the figure on "Film 2006" with Jonathon Ross last night as Jonathons a HUGE action figure and anime fan and has given several notable first appearances to figures in the past(Dr.Who springs to mind).Plus it was a very laid-back,jokey and extremely informative,in the sense that it told us more about Daniel Craig than events in the actual film, interview.Ross at his best.
C'mon Sideshow,i ve bought the best part of the figures since 2002,ive got the big Ertl diecast DBS,the smaller Corgi version now im waiting on the figures:chew :chew

I like Craig as Bond, he's really grown on me throughout all the hype surrounding Casino Royale and I'm wagering he'll be the best Bond to date since Connery. If SSC does make a 12" Craig Bond, he'll be my first 007 purchase...

I'm going to get one just so that I can smash it with a ball-peen hammer, pour some kerosene on it and light it on fire and watch as 1:6 Craig slowly burns to ashes. :lol

i really don't know this so i'm asking - why is brosnan replaced? was he demanding too much money or they deemed him too old to cast?

It's easier for me to recommend going to mi6.co.uk and looking up the Barbara Broccoli interview than explain why Pierce left myself. But what she says makes perfect sense. And i'm glad he stepped down personally. His films were turning into the turgid cheesefests associated with Roger Moore and he s not far off the age now that Moore was when he hit an all-time low with "View to a kill".

But it was Pierce who suggested to Barbara and Wilson the idea of Casino Royale and making a grittier Bond. They mulled it over and then took his idea and ran with it without any consideration to him professionally. They didn't even give him a call. Totally unprofessional and rude. Pierce was great he just suffered from lousy scripts. That's not his fault. Pierce got Daltoned.

I agree with Dave, from what I've read I think that Brosnan got screwed. It wasn't his idea for Bond to have the ridiculous invisible car or fight a bad guy who basically stole Blofeld's DAF weapon. And Brosnan did complain alot about how one dimensional Bond was becoming, I think one time he said he was sick of saying those one liners. And like Dave said, the way he found out was just wrong, assuming its true of course.
