Recently seen at a spring training game. I don't know about anyone else, but the idea of Randy Savage being the old guy trying to figure out how to text makes me laugh.:lol

Anyone remember his rap music? :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl
Be a man, Hogan!!!

This thread persuaded me to put on my Randy Savage DVD last night. I watched the Mega Powers vs. The Million Dollar Man and Andre the Giant from Summer Slam 1988 (Jesse "the Body" Ventura was the special guest referee).

They don't make 'em like they used to.

I've seen it many times. At the time, it definitely was one of the greatest big-time, televised matches in the WWF. I think this was the match that inspired Chris Jericho to go into wrestling.

Yep me too, great build up to that match as well. You don't see that kind of build up anymore either since there is a PPV every month. It meant a lot more back then.

Only slightly related, but my go-to viewing for wrestling DVD entertainment is The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior.

A friend of mine had that and I watched it, but I never felt compelled to buy it for myself. I probably should, just to watch some of his promos every now and again. The part where Christian (or was it Edge?) recited one of his insane rants word for word was hilarious.

Yeah, Christian and Jericho kill it in that video. It's just a great DVD cause it's half Warrior insanity, and half people making fun of him.

I was definitely at that young age where he seemed amazing as a kid, whereas now the guy was a legit maniac.
