Where is the best place to buy PF THOR Statue right now ?

Looks like my waitlist for the Premium Format Thor is not coming through....
So, I want to get the regular version before it's too late, but I don't
know where is the best to buy it. Could anybody recommand? THANKS !
What I mean by "the best place" is the cheapest place to buy...

unfortunately for those of us in canada, there is no cheap place to buy them, unless get ahold of your local statue retailer, and maybe just maybe if your lucky they aren't sold out yet, and since most canadian retailers get their stock much later than online retailers. they may have extra coming in.

other than that, there is a few on the bay that are reasonable, if your looking for a regular version, and with an es of 1250 for the regular i don't see them going for crazy prices.
if you can wait, i think the reg. versions will level out 3-6 months down the road. just look at the sim, first ones went crazy, now they're crashing down. and sim has the same es as thor.

Try to find one at a local shop because the shipping on this piece is going to be a killer. If you have to order it off eBay you may want to consider the declining value of our dollar in the past couple of weeks and make your decision a little quicker. The Canadian economy for now is holding but if our dollar goes back down to $0.80 US or less, my statue collecting will slow down considerably.

yeah i second that. it's already hurts everytime i see that conversion on paypal, and of course they (paypal) snags another 2-3% on the exchange.
no wonder ebay bought them. it's a license to print money, literally.

no kidding. the problem as i/you and everyone else here has found out. 99.9% of the curios and displays don't show these larger statues properly. while the 0.1% that do hold them well, either are lots of $$$$$ or not available in canada.

that's why i'm looking at biulding customs myself. should be done in say 2-3 years.

the ikea beta(not sure if that's spelt right) box shelf units work good though, especially for the cost vs display area.
the only thing that i didn't like about my brothers is that you almost have to standing right in front of each box unit looking straight in to see the statue properly. they are much better than what else is out there though, and a good price imo.

yeah can't beat that price, that's if you want a regular version. i think the regular versions will start showing up at or below retail pretty soon.
now the ex's on the other hand under $500 better buy now.

Try calling Toy Traders in Langley or Big Petes in North Van. They often carry SS statues.

with your collection you should go custom! so it doesn't matter you do not live in the usa
