Sheesh, did I miss something Josh? I know woodsy created a lot of animosity, and I honestly had to skip thorough a ton of his diatribe. But still, I miss any member who is as passionate a contributor as he was.

I saw you posted on his wall, and his last posts didn't make it seem like he was backing down from anything.

I always thought I would disappear one day, and see how long it would take for someone to miss me. But I can't tear myself away. Oh, plus, nobody would miss me...

Woodsy could rub some the wrong way. He was blunt and honest when he felt people were protecting one side while bashing the other. He was known to push it a bit far from his side. Both sides were equal in how bad they reacted.

Anways hopefully he comes back soon. I like the guy as a whole and he was constant in this section which needs it.

Well, I'm sure someday if I venture off I won't be missed but thats ok.

I know in the past that he had to drop away for some personal time (vacation) but I hope all is well and that things are going okay for him IRL. I really enjoy and respect the conversation here on the LOTR section of the board, and I think that we have a pretty awesome group of collectors here, even if people have different viewpoints from time to time. I think the LOTR section has a much more mellow and easygoing vibe, and we tend to respect on another's points without sniping at each other!

Whether you are a fan of Woodsy or not, he was good for the hobby. He was a big fan and posted regular. When I see the LOTR thread only has a few people viewing it and there are hardly any posts, I get worried about the entire LOTR line.
