Have there been any good Leatherfaces made from the original film? I've only ever seen them from the terrible 2003 film.

I did a Pretty Woman figure a while ago, I made the sculpt and painted it myself. I also made the bracelet too. Outsourced the body, hands, boots, clothes and chainsaw from various of websites like eBay, Toy Anxiety and Monkey Depot.

My first custom figure I ever built up.

Awesome Thomas Hewitt there Stiff. Ones detail is awesome and his stuff is getting better all the time.

Is that your piece?

Could somebody please confirm that Thomas Hewitt version of leatherface actually does not have lots of rings
On his fingers in the actual film please.
As im modding a sideshow figure and the hands are full of rings and im sure this is inacurate

I remember there being a scene, I believe it's when he's got the guy racked up, he working on the table and you can see rings on his fingers. Don't know how many or if he's got them on while wielding the chainsaw.

People can crap on the remake, and a lot of it is justified, but Leatherface LOOKS his most badass, by far. TCM3 is a close second.

It's hard not to go with the remake look because of how great it actually is. They got a lot wrong, but Leatherface looks really right.

I think the look of the remake Leatherface is ok, but a bit too Hollywood for me. If I had a choice to pick a definitive look for Leatherface, hands down it would be TCM1974. The killing and Pretty women look.

The original look is the only right one for me. He looks "cool" in the remake for the younger audience, which at the time were all about Saw and Hostel torture porn films. I'll wait for a top-notch original look, from the original classic film, if it ever happens. :D

Yeah I too prefer the original Leatherface look but not by a lot in all honestly.

I also really loved the Thomas Hewitt design in TCM 2003, really badass design.

I'm all about original Leatherface, too, but I also have a Thomas Hewitt figure because his look is badass! He's nasty and vicious. A heartless SOB.

The original Bubba Sawyer is much more of a scaredy human being, no self-confidence and always wanted to please his family so badly and he'd do anything for them. That guy had heart. You could tell from the first two movies. You just want to hug him and try to tame him. LOL but with Hewitt, you better run for your life!!

With that said, I own a 1/6 Hewitt figure and have him standing next to my 1/6 Jason remake figure. Those two next to each other makes sense for my collection. Both are from a remake movies that seem to succeed in their own way and they're totally opposite of the original characters.

I will be getting the original Leatherface in Premium Format from SS because I'm already getting the Jason PF.

Amstel gets it!

I love Bubba, but Thomas is frightening.

Could not agree more. Amstel.
Hewitt was just a raw cold hearted killer.
Although I am not a fan of the pretty woman, I do dig the original. [emoji4]

*gasp* how can you not be a fan of the pretty woman?! It's an unique look of Leatherface and my favorite look for a 1/6 figure but the original is the best from the movie.

I'd say it's somehow his most threatening look in the original, despite how generally docile he is in it. He goes into attack dog mode in it and I think the shift from bumbling scaredy-cat at dinner to a goddamned chainsaw rhinoceros is awesome (in the classic sense).

That said, it is super weird to look at :lol

I know,I know.. Blasphemy..
But true [emoji15]

I agree with Mikekind. It's the coolest and threatening look. He was more menacing at the end.

I wanted to share with you guys that I made him at one point. I believe it was last year. I enjoyed making him. Anyway he was sold to a collector who still has him! Hope you like...

I don't disagree with you guys. Yes, his first scene he is docile and not very aggressive . And when he dons the pretty woman it's like turning the switch(boom) instant crazy, deranged blood thirsty lunatic. I'm not debating that at all. Personally I just prefer to have the earlier version and don't feel the need to own Pretty Woman.
Just not for me I guess

I'm going to make another Pretty Woman and ship him out to you! Then you'll have no choice but to display him in your collection cause you would not want to hurt my feelings if you sell him, would you? [emoji23] it's all good bud. We have our own preferences.
