I'm starting to get a little burned out on SW again, though I will stick with the line and continue to get figures of characters that interest me (1 of each core character, Jedi, creatures, etc) and ignore the ones that don't (like The Endor Rebels and Ceremonial Luke).

But I would have to say that, overall, my priority is good, accurate 1/6 figures based on MOVIE characters, in general.

Ask me a year from now and I might answer "the INDY line".

So is it safe to assume that the only 12" lines left are SW, LOTR and the Dead?

Until Indy starts anyway.

Can't concentrate on just one. My priority is shifting towards more customs. When I was a kid back in the sixtys I was heavily into Johnny West and GI Joe. As far back as then I wanted figures of my favorite TV shows. I have been patiently waiting for the rest of the Lost in Space figures from Scifimetropolis so that base is being covered. I'm hopeing that the prototypes they made for Star Trek will eventually get made to cover my wants from that show. My other favorites were Batman, Wild Wild West, and the Man From U.N.C.L.E. I have gotten several heads from Batman and I'm working on costumes for them. I have a sculptor lined up to do the other two shows after all my XFiles heads are redone. There are several holes I want to fill in my other favorites (Highlander, Bond, Buffy). To many characters, to little time

Kamen Rider from Medicom. After that it's Bruce Lee from Enterbay.

I collect what I like and what I can afford

Sometimes thats medicom, sometimes sideshow, and sometimes hasbro

I try and improve any that I can by repaints or custom hands in the case of some of my hasbros

I have a diverse collection

50% SW

50% A mix of other Sci Fi shows / Movies

I wont necassarily get a piece cause Im a completist (as thats usually too expensive for me anyway) but will get a piece if I really like it,
although I must admit to trying to collect Jabbas throne room scene and figures in its entireity, a skiff guard would go down well with me

Universal Monsters. It's what brought me into the SSC customer fold. Really brilliant stuff and the line gets better with each release.
What? They don't make those in 1/6th anymore? Your kidding, right? It's such a great line.
Nevermind.

Okay, I guess it's Bond then.
What the..........?

I could keep this up with Buffy/Angel etc., but that would be gratuitous. All good things eventually come to an end I hear.

For SSC it's Star Wars now, anything OT. Heck, I'm even looking forward to that screamin' little girl Boba Fett, the silliest character in the entire SWU to be released. And I hope they do well with the dio items they've been releasing and continue with those and maybe well see some larger items in the future as well. Really a great license and they've done a very good job with it.

I'm also looking forward to the Indy license. I don't imagine it will be as diverse as SW or some of the others that have come before, but I'm pretty sure I'm in for whatever does come along. And I'm also still picking up most of the Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece and Medicom RAH movie figures. Great stuff.

Star Wars is my only priority. I'd never have started collecting 12" at all if SS hadn't started that. But I'm no completist, and there's a lot more out there.

So far LOTR, the future Indy line, and Hot Toys POTC have my attention. Those are the only ones I can see myself expanding beyond a few figures. Unless someone starts a Spaghetti Western line, or some kind of samurai cinema line. My holy grail would be a good Ogami Itto figure. Or the Lone Ranger.

Otherwise, if someone makes a cool figure outside of all that, I'm game. I ended up with the Medicom Evangelion ladies, and the Kerberos figure (scariest cop I ever seen). Azone's Saber figure with the metal armor is pretty tempting too, but she's some expensive. If they made a Rider figure, the price would be more palatable. I'd also really like it if Medicom did Inuyasha figures. The world needs a 1:6 Sango.

Hot Toys;
Predators
SWAT 1.0
Navy SEAL Night Ops Para Jumper
Robocop 1
ALIENS Colonial Marines

That's about it.

1. Highlander
2. LOTR (just the Fellowship) - well maybe I'll get some bad guys if they ever do any
3. Hellboy

I pick and choose.

Universal Monsters
Terminator
Star Whores
Modern Monsters
Rambo
and will be picking up Indy.
