Yeah, that's the rough thing. I mean, nobody wants just one lonely ringwraith, but then, you can't get by with just a few either. It's gotta be all nine! But you have to say it like Gandalf does to Saruman--THE NINE?!?! It's much more dramatic that way.

And what about the horses? You have to have them riding on horses! The Nine Nazgul on their horses in 1/6 scale would be even more astounding a set-up than Jabba himself, if it can be done. Can you imagine how much money that would be? I get ill simply thinking about it.

Hence I say Gandalf should come next. After that some smaller characters and a villain thrown in for kicks. Just as long as we eventually get Bill, otherwise the Fellowship will never be complete!

Good thing they already made Faramir!

The problem is you couldn't have all Nine riders on the same horse in the same pose. Each rider would have to sit differently, they all have different swords, and the horses would all have to be in a different pose to look good together (preferably all in motion). It would be a monumental task that I wouldn't wish on anybody. Still though, it would be breathtaking to behold, and beyond price when you think about it. I know that somebody out there will do it nonetheless--and we'll all weep and wail and gnash our teeth with envy once we see it!

Why stop at horses! Why not 9 fell beasts!!! Thing is though, realistically, if a wraith was created, the armor underneath would need to be unique as well. Face it, the Morgul Lord stood out. Khamul would need to be wearing an Easterling armor . . .

True. I'm curious to see if Sideshow makes a generic one with a few optional swords and items to represent 8 of them, and then a seperate Witch-King with his armor, optional helmet/hood, and his sword, mace, and knife. It's a big job.

As for the Fell Beast, they could make it a unique statue that can displayed on its own, but conveniently scaled in 1/6 format for added usefulness. Draw in statue collectors and the 1/6 crowd.

I voted for Gandalf as well, although I'm curious to see how Sideshow solves the problem of those long haired wizards.

Will they use rooted hair or sculpt the hair. If they choose the later, I forsee very limited neck moment. :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

True. How will he look down at Frodo?

Given the rate of release, I have a funny feeling that we are not going to see a hobbit in this line for a long, long time. :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

I think they would just make a generic Wraith and the Witch King. I think all of the other Wraiths in the film have the same swords (besides the Witch King of course). I think even 5 Wraiths for a WeatherTop dispaly would be awesome to see. Let alone all 9 on foot or steed! If they made a high number of these, I'd love to pick one up every now and then for cheap on ebay or something. Wonder how they'd handle the head. Especially on the Witch King in Armor. The Wizards too. They've proved they can't do rooted hair very well so I think plastic beards and hair is the only way to go. I think annousing Gandalf and Saruaman at Toy Fair would be a good idea.

Gandalf exclusive: Pipe? Moth thingy he whispers to? Dragon Firework?
Saruman exclusive: Palatir? Sauron's Eye Palatir? Candle-staff?

I voted Randy Gandy, but I really want--

Sword, scabbard, mythril coat (molded to fit in his hand), elven dagger (excl.), and Horse Expansion. :drool

Perhaps they could expand on the concept of using wire in the hoods in order to keep the entire hood in the desired shape. It would be hard to do, and packaging that would be a challenge, but it seems like one of the only ways to do it without resorting to a sculpted hood, which just doesn't look as good. Toy Biz' were nice, but just not captivating enough.

I voted Frodo mainly because I really want to see the smaller bodies. I'd honestly be thrilled with any Hobbit or Gimli.
