same here...when the AVP predators first went up for sale a few years back i didn't think they'd interest me at all, but last year i went crazy and became a completist in the line, which cost me $$$$

Any of the older Preds and the 1/6 Endoskeletons. You have to be very lucky to get them at a decent price now. I won't pay double retail for them.

that's nothing...have you seen what the Scar pred is going for??? but yeah, its crazy what some of these 1/6 figures go for after the fact. especially when i cancel some of them because i don't have the extra $170 when they first ship out.

The only one that still burns me to this day is the 'Gold Head' Destro from SDCC 2007. I wasnt able to get it there, drove up to Frank and Sons (A huge collectible warehouse) and a dealer wanted $50 each for gold and silver. I could only afford one. I had both of them IN MY HANDS but I thought Silver looked cooler because thats how I remember Destro and passed on the Gold.

The rest, as they say, is history................

well nothing really. i buy what i like. i don't necessarily buy to make a profit. it would be too hard to tell what would go up in value. so i could just say i regret not buying anything that has ever gone up in value, right?

but i am grateful for the pieces i own that did skyrocket in value. cuz now i dont have to pay an arm and leg to get them. my HT BD endoskeleton comes to mind.

I just bought one at retail that needs to be returned because the light up eyes dont stay lit when i take my finger off the button. Such a shame, such a rare and awesome figure.

Theres only so much you could do..A bad switch on the back is a bad switch.
It was perfect too, no damage anywhere and it was the cool battle damaged version with the Skull display base. Tight joints and box is in perfect condition too....It really grinds my gears to think about it

I really wish I would have bought Hot Toys Robocop's ED-209 Original Version or even BD Version. Those suckers are around $400-$500+ right now
