I tend to have the opposite problem. I buy things when they're new and expensive and regret it years later when the prices drop and they're worth nothing. For example, back when there was no merchandise of NBXmas out I bought a set of four tiny figures of Jack Skellington (and a Zero), imported from Japan, for $100. They are very nice little figures, but they probably cost about $10 to manufacture. I was just desperate to get some NBXmas stuff. Now NBXmas stuff is dripping from every orifice of Hot Topic and the like, and I doubt I could unload those four little figures for over $15.
