Well finally saw the movie, and I guess I got to be one of the weird ones to find it kinda underwhelming (lots of cool moments, but the overall story just seemed far too unfocused and all over the place). And it didn't really leave me super excited to pick up any new figures.

I'll still be keeping my PO's for Cap and Iron Spidey though, just because of how much I love their looks. And if they release an IW Gamora instead of the Vol2 version, then I'll definitely get her.

Huh. For myself none too thrilled with the *imbalances* and none too happy with the Russos. Or maybe RDJ was getting his way again dunno. Stuff happened IMO that made no sense even after a second view or was just irritating. IMO the villains were a fizzle as well none IMO had the presence of Hela and that smile of hers. Thought Proxima would be a fav for me but the actress - just didn't work for me.

Saves me some money tho both at the BO and for figs. Cap, Bucky, BW; but maybe now I'll go back and get Hela after all:devil. And Rocket and Groot from IW.

Saw the movie Thursday night, and for me, figure wise - NONE.

Unless they move Gamora and Drax under the IF banner and/or release a Nebula.

The movie was very much a "part 1 of 2" and while I really enjoyed some of the character interaction (which is really what I was looking forward to about 3 & 4), I think I'll watch this movie maybe once more to catch missed dialogue and stuff and then won't watch it again until the in theater double feature with 4.

This wasn't one I'll take out and watch without watching 4, for certain. I enjoyed a lot of moments in it, but it doesn't stand up on its own - it all depends on 4 to me.

Figure wise, A4 could also potentially be a very different story to me.

I thought the Russo's did a fantastic job with the previous movies, but it seems like there were too many characters and too many stories for even them to handle. Or maybe they're just a lot better at the more grounded Earth-bound stories than the crazier scifi stuff.

Hopefully on s second viewing the movie will seem to flow a lot better though...

Same with me, i won't be buying any IW figures, unless they make Okoye or Shuri. I only have The Winter Soldier figures from the Marvel movies since that is my favorite Marvel movie of all-time. I do want the Black Panther figures, but I am waiting to see if we get Okoye and Shuri.

But I really liked the movie, i thought it was excellent. It felt very Lord of the Rings trilogy to me which is a compliment. It only made more curious on what happens next. How do they defeat Thanos and who are the players involved?

But IW isn't what TWS is to me. I loved TWS, i have watched it 1000 times and I am never sick of it. I am not sure i need or would want to watch IW a thousand times. :p

I think they did an amazing job of developing Thanos' character and setting the stage for the next film.

It was crazy watching them go through all of the characters one at a time to see who would remain at the end of the movie. There were some choices that definitely took my by surprise.

Well, there's no wrong or right here. For me it was Thanos overload e.g. was expecting more Thanos but with tighter editing and not some cliches I picked up - can't say too much re spoilers. Anyway it was too much for me even if it was "his movie". There were places I found him chilling and other places I was getting bored.

And for me thanks to the short stick the Wakanda battle got - (was expecting something "for the ages" like Helm's Deep or some of Ridley Scott's stuff) - and with the Russos pretty much blowing off any Team Cap dynamics and/or those gritty hand-to-hand *classic Russo* fighting scenes I expected - in a way, tho I am grabbing Team Cap stuff I keep thinking these characters were only in the movie total 7-8 minutes? 10? Not happy.:(

Nebula was cool but the same - maybe 2-3 minutes?:(

Not a big fan of space-type battles usually and there was a lot of that...well, for me the film was one I would have sat out, if I had known:( - I mean can't believe there was that much of the Guardians and Thor and Spiderman when they'd just had whole movies to themselves, and there wasn't even an explanation of what Cap had been doing all that time:slap. Sort of a bad hotel reference and that's it; after waiting 2 years (after CW). Not even some sort of little comment between Cap and Bucky at facing something like this when they both had been through WW2. A bit of banter between Nat and Okoye would have been awesome.

By the time characters started to drop was just so frustrated I didn't care 'coz I never got engaged. Just seemed like so many missed opportunities to really see BP kick %ss, Bucky knife fight, Okoye, M'Baku - it's like the camera went around and everyone got a token 30 seconds and then died - or not. Did like Vision and SW tho but even then I thought she would explode with rage-power or something:dunno but nope. Why did she just die anyway, if she got her powers from an Infinity Stone:dunno
I actually liked Thanos more in GOTG more - I dunno he just seemed more like Thanos to me there. Anyway my HT list got cut way down. Tho the Outriders are creepy still think I need one for display. A couple of movie shots my skin crawled LOL so I need one.

Revised list for me:

Ordered:
Captain America (Promo)

Plan to Order:
Iron Man
Thor

Very Possible:
Hulkbuster IM
Iron Spider
Thanos

Definites if They Make Them:
Gamora
Nebula
Mantis

The only one i really NEED from this film is Thanos so i will get him.

Already have Iron Man and Cap on order as they are my favorites and are always automatically a PO for me.

Thor was awesome and i will most likely get him.

Loved the film and have watched it 3 times so far. It exactly what i wanted only thing i did not like was

Both Cap and IM are still alive (at least for another year). They are my favorites but it's time for some new characters to take over IMO

For me it’s War Machine, Thor, and Thanos, in that order. Possibly Bucky depending on how the figure looks since I don’t have one yet. Not really feeling the need for these versions of Cap or Iron Man, and I really enjoyed Spidey in the film but that suit material worries me.

After seeing the film I've preordered Thanos. Thor was a badass but I have already preordered the gladiator version. Not sure I can swing getting both. I want Iron Man and Iron Spider but just not sure my wallet can handle all of them since they're all slated for release around the same time. I wasn't impressed with Captain America in the film, and I'm not really digging the figure either, which is a shame because he is my favorite Avenger.

Just Thanos & Iron Spider for now (undecided on Iron Man).

Decided against Cap (going to hang on to see what Avengers 4 brings) & I managed to pull Thor before the NRD activated (Gladiator version will more than suffice for me).

Glad I ordered AoU Hulk instead of waiting. Don't think we'll be getting one from IW based on his 30 second appearance at the beginning of the film.

I think so. Hopefully we'll get a new Hulk for Avengers 4. I just didn't want to wait that long.

I can wait to see what figures are released for Avengers 4. People are paying crazy prices right now because of the Infinity War hype. I'm not getting sucked into a seller's market!

My theory for Hulk

He'll Hulk out again when Widow dies in front of his eyes

Aren't they giving Black Widow a solo movie?

It's a prequel. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't make it.

Wish they had kept the stand design from Civil War Guardians Vol. 2, Homecoming, etc. It was pretty much perfect to me. Really don't like the bases for IW that look identical to the Force Awakens stands. Those ones are terrible.
