'The Galleria' ?
I just got this idea from the other thread. If Hot Toys had a sports line, just imagine the possibilities:

Shaq vs The Predator , Tiger Woods vs Jack Sparrow or the greatest Marvel team up : Wolverine and Mcenroe:lol

And for Historical I was thinking not just Presidents but events like NASA landing on the moon, Neil Armstrong in an astronaut suit or even the medieval period

And For TV it doesn't have to be just shows with conflicts, it could be sit-coms or dramas. House, CSI, The Office The Sopranos :joy

Definitely not sports... just no interest for me.

Historical and TV figures would be very cool though. A lot of great possibilities... although on second thought probably better if they don't do that. I'm f'd enough as it is :lol

TV and or historical.

Would love to see Gandhi.

As for TV - the entire battlestar galactica, smallville, and angel cast.

Sports hands down! I know if a company like Hot Toys made lets say an 80's Wayne Gretzky it would be sick. The materials would all be real like and the accessories would be unlimited too.

Sports for me!

Meh. Sports collectable market is over-flooded with merch. The political figures have been done--not as well as HT could do them, but if Toy Presidents couldn't stay afloat selling them, I don't think there's strong following there. Besides, most figures would be old, white dudes in suits. TV figures can be hit or miss. I don't watch anything that might warrant a figure though--maybe a Stephen Colbert figure w/ desk would be cool, but none of the options are anything I'm dying to spend $$$ on.

I would love Hot Toys figures from The Office! Both the US version as well as the UK version.

They could give them bases with sound features, like the most memorable quotes from the characters.

I can imagine it now, a 1/6 Dwight Schrute with a great likeness and then with the push of a button he says something like:

"Shunning. It's an Amish technique; it's like slapping someone with silence. I was shunned from the age of 4 until my 6th birthday, for not saving the excess oil from a can of tuna." :lol

Or, a feature where the characters/figures actually respond to eachother:

Dwight: "Through concentration, I can raise and lower my cholesterol at will."
Pam: "Why would you want to raise your cholesterol?"
Dwight: "So I can lower it." :lol

I say spend more time doing the musical category.
A 1/6 Beatles from all the eras is a must.
Or a Neil Young with a coke rock stuck up his nose ;)

TV series. Deadwood, Sopranos, Rome and all those other shows HBO will never license.

The best choice is missing from your poll: Music :rock

Having band members would be amazing. It'd be easy for them to complete the 'lines' as usually there's around 4 members. Imagine the beatles, Led Zep, GNR. It would blow my gord.

(MJ doesn't count, he's in the ICON series)

This poll is just weird. :)

Historical figures would be more fun to see up against other HT figures:

Hitler vs. Predator!

What about a Myths & Legends category? Greek gods, Bigfoot, Nessie, creatures from Hades... many possibilities.

TV Series, it opens up Pandora's Box of possibilities and we could have TMS and the eventual TMSDX :lol

While certain historical and sports people could make interesting bashes, known TV characters would ROCK!!!
A TV cop series!
A TV sci-fi series!
etc.....

I voted Sports as well.

We need some NHL figures, would be a great value with all the equipment they would come with.
