Hmm. These particular SSC heads would look pretty big on HT bodies, IMO.

But if you have to do it, I would go with the narrow shoulders for every figure (yes they would work, as the HT figures come with adapters).

Actually, Aragorn's head is a very good size. Legolas too. Boromir is a bit big-headed, but not as bad as, say, ROTJ Luke. And Gandalf I think would be pretty much pointless to change.
I don't have Faramir, so I can't comment.

I only want to change out Boromir, Aragorn, and Legolas. So, the heads will fit on the TT without any modding?

While many of Sideshow's figures look better on other bodies, I honestly found that with a little futzing the LOTR figures look fine on the Buck bodies. Besides that, some parts are a pain in the ass to port over, like the hands, boots, etc. Plus, suddenly, everybody's the same exact height and that'll be an issue when you eventually pick up Gandalf and want to port him over as well.

You're right nam. I futzed with Boromir alittle bit this evening and he looks pretty good now. It's Legolas I'm having troubles with, mainly his Quiver(I can't get it to fit properly with the cloak on.

By the way, I'll be making the custom Gimli as well. Thanks to your how-to guide!!

You'll need to actually cut a slit in the cape for Legolas. I don't remember where I saw the mod for it but there's one floating around here somewhere. Just ask around.
