Two common problems: the straps either break off, or pop out at the joint due to insufficient glue. The production piece is one piece, period. No more discussion needed. Mqhyunh, if you are buying her, use this information to get a discount.

Get the discount and fix it. Technically it's more an oversight instead of a defect. Someone obviously just didn't put enough glue on the straps when it was manufactured. Instead of someone at the factory putting the glue on Mqhyunh can easily do it instead and get a discount for it. If the actual strap itself was broken, that's a different story. After the strap is glued back into place, no one will ever notice it because it was supposed to be glued there to begin with.

The straps also come out of my cape, i dont feel it's a big deal since they just slip right back into the slot that they came out of.

If everything else on her is fine and it's a good price, those thin straps are an easy fix and you should get the damn statue. you will not regret it.

OK, sounds fishy to me. I may have to inspect it closely next time i'm there.

The straps are connected to the cloak. They are NOT separate pieces. One strap does have to be connected to her right hand when she is displayed. However, as I said, both straps are connected to the cloak. The straps are very fragile on this piece. Many were broken during shipping. It's a common problem. If yours are inserted/connected you are lucky. That means you received an undamaged cape. Put her on diplay and enjoy. She is one sexy looking statue. I've had mine for years and still love that piece. I have all the AH X-ladies. I just wish AH was able to do a Storm Com. She's a gaping whole in the line-up. Congrats on your pick up.

Congrats Mqhuynh! She is a phenomenal piece. I just wish SSC would continue the AH Com line. There are still so many other fine ladies that AH could do. The top of my wish list would be a classic Storm Com. Looking forward to those pics of Emma.

hey noticed that your Emma is tilting to her left. You might wanna slightly twist her at her foot peg in a clockwise manner to get her to stand upright. That's what I did with mine as well. Also, you might wanna check the spongy bits on the bottom of the base to see if they're uniformly dense. two of mine were kinda squashed down, contributing to the leaning. I had to reinforce them with cutout circular cardboard bits to maintain a level base for Emma. Right now, she stands perfectly upright, t-i-t-s out

I got a good discount. I did check her and she does lean a bit. Not sure how to straighten her up. There is no damage to the base.... Its only slight I can live with it...

The REG usually sells for between $350-$400. The EX usually goes for between $400-$500. I have seen the EX sell for as much as $700. That doesn't happen very often though. The other figures I listed are right around aftermarket value now.
