Sure is hard to get used to, and day and night after day and night after..., just can't say it enough, is debilitating. Haven't been able to turn my computer on, 'cause it can't handle the heat. Still 30 inside and it's like 1-30a.m. ..... I walk around in the summertime saying "How about this heat".
 
I just noticed something on Global Gear's site...
I got my tracking no. for the CM today, and I thought I'd just check GG's site, and I noticed they bumped up the price from $3,600 ($3,321 with the code) to $4,400!?! WTF? Is that normal for them to increase the price?

^^^^ that, if I get charged $4000, I'm returning it. No way in hell am I paying over four grand for it.
 
I just e-mailed them. I better get a reply soon. If I have to pay the 4K, that is serious bull^^^^. That's a one ^^^^ing thousand dollar increase.

Yeh just had a look at thier site, its on there for $4400:horror, that is indeed
bulls^^t. Even with thier 20% off sale its still $3550.
I personally think the AUD has something to do with it, maybe they realised
they were loosing money on it, but thats their problem.
Dont think I will ever get one of these now, not for that price anyway.
 
I'm just so glad I paid for my Iron man bust in full for $1000 back when the
dollar was still good, If I were to buy it now direct from sideshow it would
cost me $1050 not shipped. And now after all the crap I'm hearing about it
I'm not even sure if I want it anymore..

You can still return it and get your money back though. You may get a good one. Alot of mixed reviews with this guy.

And how much did you pay for yours? $1000? I think I paid $1195. I've ordered mine from PopCultcha.
 
Yeh $1000. You look like you got a good deal to. Tell you what If I change my mind
on this bust before it comes you can have mine and save yourself a couple hundred
if you want.

There may be another Aussie who may want it, if you decide not to keep it. But I think if you get a good one, you'll change your mind. It really does look stunning (That's a word I don't use very often).

No probs bro.

If I do decide to keep it I will open it there (GG) in front of them so
by chance if it is one off the bad one's I'll ask for a re-fund.
Been realy discouraged with this bust, it seem's there are more disapointed
people than satisfied.

Yeah, me too. When I saw the first pics, I was happy 'cos there didn't seem to be any problems. But now that everyone is starting to get them, and since most of them are messed up, I'm very worried. I've been looking forward to this bust since it up for PO. I originally ordered it from SS (when the exchange rate was good :monkey2) but then later on, I added everything up, and it just wasn't worth the price.

If I get a ^^^^ one, I will be so pissed. People will get hurt.

I've also been hanging for this bust, feels like for ever and when
you hear the bad news it realy puts you off.

Right so I just checked GG and it's $4400 (plus shipping). Was going to buy it but f... that.
 
Phew. I called GG earlier, and they said if you PO'd it at it's original price, that's what you pay. Lucky, otherwise I wouldn't go through with it.
And yeah, they increased the price 'cos of the exchange rate.
