Who would you cast in a Justice League movie?

I'm sure that Russell could get roles on the order of other guys from the Expendables post-Expendables anytime he wanted to. . .but in fairness, Jet Li does have a much better rep than most of the other guys in that movie. My point was that Expendables didn't change things much for anyone involved. Lundgren had reasonably steady DTV work leading up to Expendables and still has that.

He agrees to the crap that is Garfield, (one of the worst movies I have ever seen, worst than The Mask 2) but he won't do Ghostbusters 3.

Even if the script sucks I wanted to see Ghostbusters 3. The guy says yes to crap like Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties and Osmosis Jones
but he is too good for Ghostbusters 3? I lost all respect for him.

Lost respect for a guy that doesn't want to live in the past? I'm sure he would take the paycheck if it suited his mood at a given time, but by and large he's making great critically acclaimed movies nowadays that he couldn't get away with when he was originally a star (see the Razor's Edge). Whatever you think about him, he had a terrific career revival. I would like to see something similar from Russell.

I would like to see the old bastards back in the suits, but I can also see that Murray doesn't care much about it. He said in an interview (paraphrasing) that part 2 was worse than part 1, stands to reason part 3 won't be very good. So he just didn't feel much of an interest in doing it. Of course, he does take gigs for paychecks now and again, but if he just doesn't want to do this for whatever reason, I don't begrudge him for it. Seems like Aykroyd is much more nostalgic and looking to cash in on that, which I can also understand. But the original film is really all I need re: those characters.
