Whos got the new batch of 1/2 Iron mans?

Im debeting weather or not to keep my order for the 1/2 IM. I've heard and read that SS has apparently corrected the thin casting, packaging and paint issues. I just want to ask the people out there who have got recent pieces from their "new batch" if this is the truth or not? Can anyone post pictures or confirm the paint apps have been corrected or gotten better?

I heard there was going to be a new batch of Legacy Iron Man's too.

However, I have yet to hear anything official from SS so until I hear or see something different, I expect zero changes whatsoever from upcoming batches.

Here's the thing man, even if they did change casting, etc., it would be suicide for them to admit as such.

That being said, I can say with faith that they did "fine-tune" the piece to reduce the initial issues.

I'm in the same boat as you and wondered the same and did some "research". If it makes you feel any better, I am ordering mine on October 15th.

If I order it and have to return it, I then have to fight with customs to get my money back from them too (which could take 6-10 weeks). Customs fees on a $2000 statue in Canada will be $500+. Thats what im trying to avoid...I'd rather not go through that headache if I dont have too.

Couldn't you just open a P.O Box say in Buffalo, NY and then get it there? Inspect it and then decide if you need to send it back? Or is this illegal?

I guess I could do that...but thats a hell of alot of trouble just to order a statue. If they could get the QC right the first time that would be SWELL!

I just got one recently and the thing is awesome. Got it from Secret Compass. Came in 2 separate boxes packed on a skid. Had to make an appointment with a trucking company to get it delivered. Have it set up and all is fine. Looks awesome. Not sure of a different casting or not but it looks solid to me and painted awesome. Had to wait like 3-5 months for this.
