why do some SS brown shipper has a giant X?

The 'X' is on the first 100 pieces of the production run if I remember correctly. It isn't always red.

That's what I was thinking too. They could be also be returns that were approved for re-sale. Of course, it's just speculation on our part.

I have never bought from sideshow but bought a pf form a member here in canada, he showed me pics of the box before shipping and there was no x on it, not that l noticed anyway. Then when l got it there was a red x across the box, so it isn't for returns, something to do with shipping maybe, not sure.
