Why no 1/6 Snake Plissken ?

There was a figure made of snake. It still shows up on e**y at times. Not to bad a figure.

The only official Snake figure was through McFarlane as part of their Movie Manics line.

Their was an unofficial bootleg one produced but its pretty awful.
Well the outfit and accessories is decent enough though the leather jacket is pretty bad.

There's a nice Snake Plissken head at hero heads. You'll have to paint it, but it's a winner (imho). I'll post a pic of my custom tonight.

So I've decided to take the plunge and go the custom route....didn't think I'd ever try this, but I really want a Plissken.

I've bought that custom convention version from ebay which will provide a nice starting point. It's not a good figure but it essentially gets me all the clothes, weapons and accessories.

Next is to get a new body ...I'm thinking the Hot Toys Indy body, which I believe has now been released as a stand alone buy.

And then the hardest part:
Dont really like the few custom sculpts currently floating around.....going to get a custom sculpt made and painted to fit onto the DX body !

I doubt it. He didn't say no to McFarlane when they did their Snake Plissken figure. He didn't say no to Neca when they did their Death Proof figure. He didn't say no to the horrible Stargate movie figures from way back in the day either. So either he's cool with it, or he just doesn't much care.

Plus he's on record as saying many times that Snake is his absolute favourite of all the characters he's played, so I doubt he'd be a problem if someone was looking to do a new Snake figure or statue.
