It actually was lol and it lasted longer than the action scenes in the movie!
and better too!

Okay, this is driving me nuts. The first movie comes out and a ton of toys/statues, and just about anything under the sun having to do with Ghost Rider comes out. Now a decent Ghost Rider movie comes out and nothing! Ugh, this is really pissing me off! I understand that the last movie kinda sucked and didn't do too well, but the toys sold out everywhere. There isn't even any books at all! This sucks because this rendition of GR is awesome. His bike looks good as well.
Does anybody know if there will be anything coming out?
free was too much for me...at least I got some M&Ms
Agreed! The look of GR is one of the most important parts of the character/stories...He's almost always had basically the same look with the studs/spikes and always had a very stylized bike whether its the chopper or the one from the comics with the big skull looking thing on the front...
The look of everything GR in this film is burnt...nothing more
So what if they went for a different look. Every sequel does it, and I think they went at it in a very creative way. Why shouldn't GR be all burnt? Why can't he strike a different bike? If you saw the movie you would see that Blaze is kinda on the run. His bike looks like a fixer-upper.
So the question is, whether or not you LIKE or HATE the movie, why aren't there any toys? They make plenty of toys for bad movies. The Last Airbender anybody? The last pirates movie? And you guys want to ride this flick? C'mon.
Did you like the movie?
As far as them making toys, no one knows. Clearly, Marvel doesn't think as much of GR as they do Avengers, IM, Cap and Spiderman. There was very little promotion done. And there are no toys at all. But have hope if you really want HT to make a 1/6 GR from this sequel. The first movie was out in 2007. The GR HT was realeased 3 years later in 2010.
To answer the question, yeah, I kinda did. I thought t was way better than the first. I personally like movies to have some grit, and they gave GR some. Sure it could have been better here and better there, but c'mon people. It was better than some of the comic movies that have come out. I personally liked it waaaay better than Thor. But. Then again, I am partial to GR, and just wanted him to throw down. They could have done more action in this movie, but with what they did, it was pretty cool. Seriously if anybody that saw the movie tells you that they didn't get super juiced when GR was mobbing his bike in the ending scene, they are lying!
So yeah, maybe Hot Toys will finally do one, but to tell you the truth, I'm kinda sick of them charging so much and then using cheap materials that break down after time. Plus, to be honest, their GR sculpt highly insulted me. I thought the 12 inch figure Hasbro release was far superior, minus the whole clothing thing. And it cost just a fraction of the price! It's still one of my favorite figures. He was cheap, and just looked cool.
It just makes me sad that they passed on such a cool design (obviously my opinion with a chosen few)
+This is not meant in a negative way, but I think the fact that you are partial to GR matters. You're partial to him and he isn't getting an ounce of love from Marvel, Hasbro, Hot Toys, Critics or us. You're pissed because so many other movie characters are being shown love. Sorry.
I love all Marvel. But I am partial to Spiderman and Iron Man. And in my opinion, I don't think this GR movie comes close to Thor. But thats my opinion.

Comparing this movie to Thor is ridiculous. Thor was well done one every level.
Other than special effects, nothing was done well on this film. The casting was terrible. The writing was terrible. The action was short and already seen in the trailers. The story was rushed and forced.
Unless someone is biased, I dont see how they can see it any other way...
I love Ghost Rider but that doesnt mean this movie automatically gets higher scores than it deserves...
Thor was well done on all levels if there are no levels to be well done at. Bad writing, cookie cutter characters and plot, awful character development, very standard action scenes, stale humor. Thor had it all and not in a good way. When Thor gets so much praise I honestly can never stop being shocked. It's like people forget these are forgettable summer action films with big budgets and are suddenly considering them to be award winning well done adaptations. The Avengers itself is probably also going to be similar. College humor mixed in with big budget nonsensical action sequences to form an overall forgettable installment in a line of Marvel films that no one will pay any attention to ten years from now.

I've yet to see the new Ghost Rider and it sounds like that's a good thing. It's a shame too since I like Cage and I simply expected this movie to be at least fairly better than the first one, but the reception makes it sound like it is an absolute abomination much worse than the previous.
Why won't this movie get any toys?
A: Because this movie does not appeal to children.
B: Hot Toys is more selective now. They can't make products of things that MIGHT work. It has to already WORK.
Green Lantern sucked, and did terribly. I highly doubt we'll ever see that figure.
Watchmen never sold, so we'll never seen Rorschach.
Why do you think the X-Men First Class announcement came after the movie premiered? It did well. There was a demand for it.
This movie was trashed by almost everyone. It didn't even make number 1 this week. It got beat out by a 2 week old movie.
So no. This movie won't get any kind of collectibles. There's little market for it as the movie was a failure. Regardless of your opinion.
