their Elder Predator 2 is their finest imo, great likeness,compared to the rest ht has made. but he is very expensive now.

Lost is still one of my favorite Preds. And right now he's the best value. However, you can't go wrong with the original Predator suggestions. Just make sure you find the Sideshow Exclusive to buy. Otherwise you may end up kicking yourself. I wish I had bought a SE verison. I want that non-battle damaged helmet! Now I have to find one on eBay. Some dude is selling his brand new for $150! JUST FOR THE DANG HELMET!!!

All other Preds are very pricey. Best bet is the Lost. Very cool. But... make sure you buy a neck collar for him. You gotta find one seperately on eBay. Unless you can live without one. I couldn't.

They're waitlisted on Sideshow. You can try, but you're not guaranteed. Unfortunately collecting this late means paying outrageous mark ups on these figures. It's not fair I know.

I got the Sideshow Exclusive and for the prices on eBay, in my opinion, it isn't worth forking that much extra just for a Non-BD Helmet. Mine has just been sat in the box. My Predator never even wore the BD helmet it came with... head sculpt is too good to cover up. All down to personal preference though.
Just saying that if the guy isnt bothered about the helmet, then no reason to fork out the extra $$$. Its not one of those exclusives which really enhances the piece its self!
Yeah I would be very suprised if you got one from being waitlisted!!!
Best bet is to either try the "To Buy..." forum here once you meat the requirements, or hit eBay!

Yeah it does come down to personal preference. As you can see in the other thread I like to pose my P1 with his helmet on. I love the face sculpt, but for now it's with his helmet on. I recreated the scene in the movie where he lifts Billy's head atop the tree.
Wouldn't mind having the non-battle damaged helmet for that pose. I'd pose my P1 unmasked - when I change his pose. I'll change it every now and then. I'd like to put him in his unmasked crouch hands wide just before he begins his fight with Dutch!
Bit of info and advice to the thread starter. Be patient on eBay. Every now and then people sell these figures for reasonable prices compared to others. It's all about patience though.

It's not eBay in general. eBay doesn't sell items. Sellers on eBay sell items. You'll have to wait until you find someone who puts up a new listing.
Check at the end of the day every Saturday. People generally like to list on the weekends. I check everyday though for good deals and new listings.

I waited on getting any of the HT Predators until the Original was released. IMO, nothing beats the original.

Like "ebay" is a store or one person.
Any way, there are quite a few P1's on ebay. you really can't get any predator for retail anymore except the lost "borg" predator. If money isn't an issue i'd go with the P1, best figure and best movie. Then if you want two, get the Predator 2 figure.
