the witch lady saw this Photoshop version of the poster that hides her eyes, and freaked out.
she said it was racism. erasure. this her full response to the fan edit. to the photoshop edit.

LOL "this is the wildest, most offensive thing I have seen,,... It degrades me, it degrades us... I am a real life human being... to edit my face and hide my eyes is to erase me..."

If she only knew how quick sci-fantasy-hero geeks and freakdome are to edit any actors and movie posters, photoshop "fixed" to their liking.
It's like the most common thing, as soon as any new visual media comes out.
Especially when you are invoking an already popular established poster, or playing a "character" with a history and legacy of recognizable visuals, that long predates you and anything you borough to it by decades.
Ridiculous she took that as a personal affront, it wasn't about her, or that massive ego!

If anything someone should edit the "correct" nose back on.

Don’t allow your political beliefs to block you from seeing this, it’s worth a watch.

But that also depends on your connection to the original Wizard of Oz, which I love and your tolerance of musicals.

This is the first good thing to come out of the franchise since the original and although I did enjoy parts of Oz Great and Powerful this blows that away.

There is messaging in the movie, but it didn’t irritate me at all because it wasn’t the sole purpose of the movie.

The overall experience was pleasant.

Ariana legit gave an oscar worthy performance.

Although my dumb *** certainly did with Wicked, I was not going to go see it after her ridiculous outburst and like I said I am so happy my two sisters dragged me to this they literally had to beg me and offer free popcorn lol

Actors always say and do weird things. It's the "la-la-land they live in" -- amazingly insulated, considering their art is to 'be other people' and 'open to experience'. Sadly, most are inconsequential and easily replaceable. Even moreso as the future goes AI. But then, I guess most of us are as well.

Besides, we all act like ***** sometimes. The one's that say they don't are the worst offenders.

Smart for them to frame it that way.
