Those 3 are the only ones I'll see in the theatre... plus Friday the 13th.

I'm dreading if SS makes any Harry Potter collectables.

There plenty there i want to watch, but nothing i really want 1/6 figures from. Unless HT gets the Watchmen license. My collection is almost complete with the icons i want in it, not to may i need now.

I'll be intrigued to see if HT do much more with the series of figures like Brando and Dean - a Dirty Harry/ Man with no Name Clint Eastwood or 'On the Waterfront' Brando would take my money. And obviously I'd be all over a Reeve Superman or Keaton Batman series. This might be the year to do it too, if there's not too much other iconic material around.

Heck, even if it is a light year (which I still don't think it will) there's always playing catch-up on stuff you might have missed out on :lol

Good point, if nothing goes up for order soon maybe I'll sway myself to get that Thing PF. Oh, I did forget about the Blackbeard PF, think I'm gonna order that too.

I was thinking about this the other day, actually, and yes I think I'll get some much-needed relief in '09.

Apart from a few preorders that will arrive in the first quarter of next year, there isn't much being announced in terms of film and entertainment related collectibles that I'm going after.

However, you never know when a company like Hot Toys will drop the A-Bomb of product announcements, so we're never really safe.

In the year 2010... There are no wallets...

In the Year 2010... Money does not exist...

No one has got any!

"In a World" where no one can retire... Rises a Hero...

You Guys make up the rest of it...

I've already been cutting down what I buy and with the majority of new Transformers next year being from the next movie I should save a bit more as I've no intrest in Bayformers.

Other than that I'll only be getting Classic Doctor Who figures from Character Options,NECA's Gears of War stuff and the HT Predator so it shouldn't be too bad ( famous last words lol! )

I collect 1/6 high end collectible figures. I have all the pieces from past releases I want and I am awaiting my pre-orders (TDK, IM and SW). I'll be complete once the pre-orders arrive unless a company expands a line I collect or opens a new line of characters based off of movies I enjoy such as: Gladiator, The Crow or other comic book adaptions. The only movie I'd consider figures from this year would be Wolverine. I am always up to changing my mind but I antcipate a light year. I'll save or spend the cash on items to finish my room.

No year is a light wallet year, lol. There ALWAYS something that comes out just when you think ahh wallet relief. I just wish that instead of the price for collectibles climbing they would go down in light of the economic disaster.
