Maybe, but this has a much better director tied with much better writers and stars Michael Fassbender. Kind of like having a pair or a flush and thinking you should bet the same because you don't know what the other players are holding. Yeah, theres no guarantees, but sometimes you have to look at the hand and just bet.

I hope not, only because it would officially bankrupt me. I've got a good feeling about this film. Finally got the chance to look at the new trailer, after ditching my attempt to get down to Wondercon today. Just too beat up after four 14 hour days in a row in the Sports Book with all the smoke and cigars and lack of proper nutrition...

This looks amazing.

Yeah, I'll wait until I see the movie before clamoring for collectibles from it. I'm a huge Alien fan, and I like much of what Ridley Scott has done, so I'm cautiously optimistic. But even if it is a great movie, I doubt it's gonna be an iconic classic like Alien. Guys in those funky space suits probably won't be of much interest to me personally.

Theres absolutely no doubt in my mind about promethus being not only a fantastic film but also one of ridley's best movies. I'm pretty positive we will also get another blade runner. Ridley scott yesterday said his next movie will be a sci fi. I'd buy a space jockey from sideshow

we really do need an original classic.. The last one that came remotely close to alien was the original matrix, and that was so long ago.

Same here. Was hoping for a better ending from Super 8. Oh well. Still enjoyed it.

Prometheus, on the other hand, should be just fine for any Alien fan.

Hopefully someone at least makes the space jockey.
