I've been watching the digital shorts and I cant help but wonder if we will ever get an Agent Coulson. Would have been great to get a head on a Truetype but I would be real happy with a licensed figure too.

They showed the shorts during our wait time for the Avengers at the Drafthouse. The gas station/convenience store one was my favorite! Just awesome.

I am in for Coulson.

If Harvey Dent can't sell an action figure, no way Colson does. Only real Man-In-Suit who could would be Agent Smith. And any other type of cinema icon ala Godfather.

You might want to correct that.

You might mean sell-out, or sell in big numbers. But to say he wont sell isn't very accurate. There are a few of us right here on the board who want one, and some people that responded to my facebook post about one, who want one.

Well, HT did go on the record in an interview saying Harvey Dent didn't sell (sell well is implied of course), and there were more than a few people who wanted that guy --he was a principle character in a huge movie. How can they be confident in a side character after HD doesn't do well in numbers? I'm not saying he wouldn't sell a few figures, but enough to warrant a release?

Oh I have no idea. Just wanted to have it corrected that the figure would sell. It may sell to only 100 people world wide. It may sell to only the 5 or so of us here that want it. But it would sell. And even if it's only me who buys one, I'd display him with pride. :clap

Is Incredible Hulk still considered to be a part of the Avengers canon?

It hardly gets mentioned at all :dunno

I was asking that one myself today. Banner at the end seemed in control of his Hulk-outs --unlike in the Avengers, and, Stark, who shows up at the end saying they're putting together a team, doesn't even seem to be part of that team if IM2 is anything to go by.

Plus there are so so many other characters from this and other lines easily more deserved.
:slap

Didn't want to make a new thread or anything but am i the only one who very nearly dispises Coulson.

Nah, you're the one who despises everything... :monkey2

Yes, Incredible Hulk is very much continuity and the incident in Harlem was even referenced in Avengers. Banner IS in control of Hulk, but Loki's influence is what caused him to transform in the Helicarrier.

The events of Incredible Hulk occur during Iron Man 2, and the scene with Stark at the end occurs after Iron Man 2 ends, prior to Thor's arrival and Captain America being found.

Continuity:
IM1
Parts of IH and IM2 occur simultaneously
Thor
Captain America
Avengers
