I just freaking love his camera work, his production designs.

I hate polls.......I didn't catch the first film until blu ray heard it was phenomenal (visually) in theaters. I don't care much for the first film but may be intrigued enough this time for theater showing if same visual rumors hold true.

I won't watch it at all. I think my biggest problem with Avatar is that I felt like I was robbed of my time. I didn't pay to see it. I watched it with my bro-in-law who at the time was enamoured by it. Why would I put myself through that again?

It’s not a “hell no”, more like “nah, I’m good.”

Saw the first one in the theater and I really wasn’t blown away by the visuals. The 3D was…fine I suppose. I don’t like 3D, so it’s not like that’s the draw for me. Visually I thought the art direction was kinda cheesy, with all the neon-y wildlife. Just seemed uninspired and cliche. And of course the story and dialogue was terrible. The action was good, as was expected from Cameron.

So I’ll watch it when it comes to Blu. I’m curious enough to want to know where he takes the story.
