Hey Rory, sorry if it sounded like I was dismissing your complaint... just was clarifying about this piece. Sorry to hear you've had such a bad run of luck.

I can understand the occassionaly broken item, but glued back together is completely unacceptable.

Thank you for your post. Please contact our returns department and they will get you fixed up. This particular statue is from Pop Culture Shock and therefore SC quality control staff and any QC improvements that have been made in the past few months will obviously not apply to other company's items. Sideshow does carry many other items from other manufacturers so it is very easy to jumble problems into a lump under our umbrella. However our returns are ready to assist you in replacing the merchandise or returning it for a refund if you are not happy in anyway. You are not obligated to keep an item even with a partial refund.

Please note that we have forwarded your forum pictures on to Pop Culture Shock so that they can address their own quality control issues.
 
Here's another suggestion for them as well- how about a waiver that you have to sign only ONE time to waive the signature requirements on all packages. The $100 and over rule is a huge hassle.

Indeed it is. I see the UPS guy more than I see some members of my own FAMILY who live 20 minutes away.
 
Just an example. I wish this happened less often but this is why I always get a nasty feeling in my stomach when opening these boxes.

I should never see this. This statue costs $274 not including shipping.

SS if you sent me something like this...I would sue you for false advertising...thats F^^^ing ridiculous!!

Does this look like a bran new item to you????

Please refer to my previous post to el ran. It is impossible for a distributor to open and reinspect every single item. This is why we offer a prompt replacement / returns policy as every other business does.


I will certainly look int o the waiver suggestion and get back to everyone.

Chargersfan- there have been some great improvement sin quality control int he past few months as well as some complete factory switches. While you had to return to of those pieces were the transactions completed to your satisfaction is the most important part.
