If I had a spare machine up and running I would load this up on it and give it ago. But all my machines are in use and I don't feel like formatting at the moment. Let us know, I'm a little curious to see how much it makes vista ^^^^

It's getting a lot of positive buzz, I might try to load it up on a virtual machine and see what's what.

I was going to download it but I decided to get a Mac instead. F U Windows! :moon

Yea, I think when I get a new machine it will be a Mac. You can't even buy a NEW windows PC with Windows XP. I refuse to buy a machine that comes with Vista, so I think I might be going Mac now.

If you have the Windows XP installation discs from an older system you could always reinstall it on a new one until Windows 7 comes out. :monkey3

So what happened?
Microsoft realized Vista was crap, and now they create a "new" one?...

Vista was released in late 2006... by the time the new version is "officially" released, it will have been almost 3 years, which is right on track for Microsoft's roadmap of updates to their OS software.

I found that Vista doesn't run as smoothly as XP on lower end machines. I hated the fact that I had to change some printers due to the lack of Vista compatibilty. Also had to change a wireless router do to issues with Vista PCs. There were a few 6 month or so old machines Vista couldn't even be installed on. Other than that, it was ok after I turfed the processor hungry default graphics setup. :lol

I heard there were some computers, with Vista, that didn't take retrograding to XP very well. So beware of what you buy.
